RELIGIONS AND THEIR INFLUENCE ON HUMANITY

It is clear that religion has been inside humanity for a long time and this has let people to
have something to believe in or belong. It also lets people gather themselves to learn new
rites and prayers in order not to commit sin (in general). Otherwise, believers have to pay the
price for their actions and that will be bad for people, especially after death. However, the
side effects will depend on the type of religion or belief.

As people worry about their religion, they tend to do either good, bad or incomprehensible
things. These actions or non-actions could be seemed like a sin or even a crime to a normal
person. Many of these have happened along history such as, donations, prayers, celebrations,
praises, rites, symbols, generous actions, sharing, critics, lies, fasting, beating, sentences,
torture, sacrifices, murders and so on. All these actions have been done in order to be saved,
accepted, recognized as a proof of faith that you believe in a deity or that you belong to a
certain religion or group.

In addition, those actions have been invented or created by supposed men who were
illuminated by a deity. Some of the actions appear acceptable and not dangerous to humanity,
but there are other ones that are so silly and it is not understandable why people do them. The
only answer it is that people could be expelled from the religion or killed if they do not do it.

On the other hand, it has to be said that if what a person does or not, according to a
religion, with the goal of being a better human being and not damaging himself, herself, other
people, creatures or nature, he or she is a healthy person, physically and psychologically.

To sum up, religions have affected so much to humanity for both well and badly. The
recommendation would be to improve as human beings as much as possible so that in the
future it were not necessary to do terrible and incomprehensible things to be pleasing to God.

I think there is a God, I also think everything revolves around him, I am a Christian, I
always apply a sentence; I would not lose anything following him, but if it was true I would
lose eternal life that everything is. Believing in him is not bad, I think it's the best, I do not
smoke, I do not drink, I do not live doing bad things, Some guidelines how to live, just to
obey. This helps us to be better people as much as to love our fellow men.

Influence on humanity is good, When I was a child or younger towards undue things, I
now live with guidelines, also some people who are lost find rest in the Lord, They remove
from their lives the vices, conflicts, among others; I think there is the secret, as the comrades
say it is not necessary to be fanatic, But I say that the one who gets into that role experiences
success, as I do now.

The humanity believes in god with different names, appearances and characteristics. As a
result, there are many religions.

The religion has influenced people with what they eat and how they dress. It seems to be
a human need to believe in something that transcends or explain what he does not understand
by myths and legends with gods, heroes and villains.

When an empire had a war with another, they invoked their gods and the loser was
humiliated by burning their places of worship.

Religion was related to human labor, the gods of the harvest, love, war and the man was
subjected to rituals for marriage, to rest . So that religion is part of man's culture and
influences the way he understands the world and what happens.
 In middle-ages, men thought they lived in a world ruled by God. And the kings were God's
will, and the men were accepting everything about this, until philosophers doubted it, and
they began to seek the truth of things by itself through the scientific method and everything
began to change, the illustration and modern paradigm gave rise to a change of mentality
and was the beginning of several sciences.

Although the world has changed much, religion still dominates many societies and
decisions of people.

Believing in God is a personal experience that guides the moral, but it mustnt be imposed
by others. Radicalism is dangerous, in the world there are sects and cults that kill people
because they think differently, and since ancient times men have fought for religion or
politics.

Religious belief is part of each human being and is reflected within society, has been
trascendental in the formation of ideas that lead to the formation of the person. The faith that
is professed is presented as a bond of union between the divine and the earthly, allowing the
human being to behave and acquire a full growth of life, with values that make him happy. It
allows people to support themselves, develop values and beliefs, awakening notions of
spirituality and value the human being with the social and natural environment. For decades
religion has kept large human groups under doctrines that are professed and spread
throughout the world, because disagreements of the biblical contents have been divided
creating multiple groups of churches with doctrines adapted to their way of faith, usually
these divisions trigger nonconformities, aggressions and wars.

The five major religions of the world are: Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism, Islam and
Hinduism, are born of the need of human beings to believe in something or worship a God,
their belief solves things that science And medicine sometimes cannot solve.

Religion is a necessity in man, a God exists or has not always been part of the past, the
present and the future, it is important in social development improving their behaviors and
making exemplary people with patterns of behaviors and values that should govern Our daily
life, how to love and respect other people, not killing, not stealing, also help to solve
problems, anguishes and diseases

The bad thing about some religions is that there are pastors or priests who influence the
integrity of the people, taking advantage of their leadership to create fear through the word of
God and rob their parishioners by asking them for money and the only thing they do is
enriching themselves through the religion
