WHAT ARE THE OBJECTIVES OF THE U.S. COUNCIL FOR WORLD FREEDOM?
First, to provide information and educate the American public to the dangers of Communism and the threat
posed to the United States by the encroachment of Communist governments on its borders.
Second, to counteract the subversion, disinformation, and news manipulation that fuels the Communist
drive toward world domination.
Third, to provide non-military technical assistance, supplies, and moral support directly to freedom fighters
throughout the world.

WHAT ARE CURRENT USCWF PROJECTS*"
COALITION FOR WORLD FREEDOM. Currently we are in the process of forming a nationwide
network of anti-Communist groups to disseminate information and counteract disinformation. While these
groups maintain their own identity and their own projects, in the area of anti-Communism they function
as a member of a network. The COALITION FOR WORLD FREEDOM is able to maintain an efficient network
of many patriotic Americans alert to any threat to our freedom.
PROJECT BOOTS: ?rovides work boots to Freedom Fighters in Nicaragua and Afghanistan. Boots, such
as those worn by American workers, are unavailable to the Freedom Fighters struggling against communist
regimes in their countries. They wear sandals, worn-out shoes, or go barefoot. A $50.00 pair of American-
made work boots is a necessity for these patriots and the USCWF has undertaken PROJECT BOOTS in order
to help them.
CAPTIVE NATIONS PARK: The park, to be built in San Antonio, Texas, will be a monument to
countries subjugated by Communism. Some of the countries included will be Estonia, Latvia, Ukraine,
Mozambique, Poland, Hungary, East Germany, North Korea and others, we are sad to say, too numerous to
list here. At the Park, a flag from each country will be flown at half-staff until they are liberated. At the
base of each flag-pole will be a plaque giving a brief description and history of the oppression suffered by
the people of that Captive Nation. In the center of the park will stand a bound and gagged statue of Liberty.
By sponsoring this project, the USCWF hopes to provide a visual reminder to the American people of those
who do not enjoy our freedoms.
ANTI-COMMUNIST TRAINING OF PEACE CORPS VOLUNTEERS: In the original legislation
establishing the Peace Corps was a requirement that all volunteers be trained in the strategy and tactics of
Communism so that they might be alert to the danger. It has come to the attention of the USCWF that this
training program was not in place from 1969 through the present. We have undertaken an effort to see that
every Peace Corps Volunteer will understand thoroughly the strategy, tactics, and mettiodology of
Communism.
NICARAGUAN FREEDOM FIGHTERS: USCWF Chairman General John Singlaub gives speeches
and briefings in all parts of the United States in support of the Freedom Fighters in Nicaragua. Through
fundraising the USCWF was able to donate considerable quantities of non-lethal supplies and equipment,
including small boats, outboard motors, boots, clothing, a medical evacuation helicopter and some des-
perately needed medical supplies.
In addition, women's and church groups are making "Freedom Fighter Friendship Kits" to be delivered to
the young Nicaraguan patriots who are opposing the Marxist-Sandinista regime in their country. These kits
consist of a drawstring pouch filled with personal items such as soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, etc.,
which will show them that we Americans are grateful and that we do care about them.
However, more is needed as even with government aid, these efforts are miniscule in relation to the billions
of dollars given the Sandinistas by their Soviet friends.
