several ofces in the Millbrae Optimist Club and was an active member of the San
Mateo County Dental Society and U.C. Dental Alumni Association.
Mel is survived by his daughters, Melinda Frank and Cheryl Frank Dutton; son-
in-law, Michael Dutton; grandchildren, Ryan and Olivia Dutton; foster son, Roger
Stone, and nephew, Jeffrey Lawton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean
Frank; daughter, Susanne Frank; brother Joseph Frank; and sisters Ann Carmack,
Esther Foster, Minnie Kusiak, Lillian Frank, and Sylvia Carter.
A service and reception celebrating Mels life will be held at one oclock on
Saturday, July 29, 2017 in the Poplar Restaurant Ballroom at Poplar Creek Golf
