1. What if I don't have my CAT admit card?
- Carry your score card, ID card and all other necessary documents.
2. Till what date should one fill the work ex?
- You can fill the work experience column as on the date of filling the form, provided you have the
supportive documents. It does not make much difference since the composite score for any student will be
calculated based on the number of months of work experience as on 31st August 2016.
3. What should I submit as a proof for work ex?
- If you are currently working, then the joining letter and first and last month salary slips. Otherwise, a work
ex certificate as well.
4. 10th marks not showing on the form, what should I do?
- The 10th marks are not being given any weightage and hence they do not show on the document.
5. If there is a mistake in filling the marks in the CAT form or if there is a mismatch in the
data from TCS and that in IIML form, what should I do?
- All the data will be verified based on the uploaded documents and also at the time of the interview.
6. College/university follows a unique marking scheme, which does not seem to be in line
with questions in the form. What should be done?
- The institute will consider the conversion rules and/or any other rules followed by your college as
mentioned on the marksheet you upload. You can upload proof for conversion rules and other criteria of
your university if not mentioned on your form.
7. How to convert grades into marks?
- Firstly, follow your university rules for conversion. Otherwise, multiply grades by 10 to get a score out of
100.
In case your college gives a weighted average, you may follow this:
For each semester:
Total marks= number of credits * 10
marks obtained = sum of (grade*subject credits)
Percentage = SGPA *10
Please follow one of these or any other rule which you find suitable for your university. But do attach a
proof of conversion if available.
8. Is it possible to get the interview rescheduled to some other date or time?
This year, the institute shall not be entertaining any reschedule requests even if there is a clash of interview
slots with other IIMs. Kindly try sorting out the issue with the other institution.
9. Not being able to submit the form, what should I do?
- Clear cache and cookies, and use Mozilla Firefox. Keep your documents in the mentioned format and with
size below 500kb. Don't leave any fields blank. Retry a few times. Try from a different system if you aren't
successful.
In case you make a mistake and after correcting, you are unable to submit, do not keep clicking on the
submit button. Start afresh.
Do not use a smartphone or tablet for filling the form.
Trying again for a few times should solve the problem most of the times.
