AN ORDINANCE ABOLISHING SUPERVISING ADMINISTRATIVE
OFFICER-SG 22, ITEM NO. 2, ACCOUNTANT 11-SG 16, ITEM NO. 3,
CASHIER 11- SG 14, ITEM NO. 7 AND CREATING ELEVEN (11) NEW
POSITIONS PARTICULARLY ONE (1) ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER V-
SG 18, TWO (2) ADMINISTRATIVE AIDE II - SG 2 AND EIGHT (8)
ADMINISTRATIVE AID! I - S6 1 IN TH! IL61L6 CITY COMMUNITY
COLLEGE AND APPROPRIATING NECESSARY FUNDS THEREOF

WHEREAS, lloilo City Community College (ICCC), is an institution that provides

affordable and excellent public education to underprivileged but deserving students in
lloilo City, giving them opportunity to finish college;

WHEREAS, lloilo City Community College is now a fully recognized city-run

public college by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED);

WHEREAS, Section 76 of R.A. 7160 of the Local Government Code of 1991

provides that every LGU . shall design and implement its own structure and staffing
pattern taking into consideration its service requirements and financial capability,

subject to the minimum standards and guidelines prescribed by the Civil Service
Commission;

WHEREAS, the lloilo City Community College is in need to create the particular
plantilla positions in order to improve and distribute the workload to enhance their
administrative services.

NOW, THEREFORE, let it be ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the

City of lloilo, in session assembled, that:

a. Supervising Administrative Officer - SG 22, Item No. 2

b. Accountant II - SG 16, Item No. 3
c. Cashier 11- SG 14, Item No. 7

Section 2. - New Positions in the lloilo City Community College are hereby
created as follows:

a. One (1) Administrative Officer V- SG 18

b. Two (2) Administrative Aide II - SG 2
c. Eight (8) Administrative Aide I - SG 1

Section 3. - Duties and Responsibilities of new created positions are as follows:

a. Administrative Officer V - SG 18

- Shall assist the office head in planning, directing and coordinating all
Administrative functions.

- Shall take charge of the records, communication work of the office and
prepares accomplishment reports.

- Shall supervise the administrative aides in carrying out their tasks.

- Shall take charge of personnel relationship and discipline

b. Administrative Aide II - SG 2

- Shall perform the most basic clerical tasks largely by assisting the
Administrative Officer in the performance of the works and duties of the
position

c. Administrative Aide I - SG 1

- Shall perform filing documents, sorting, storing and safekeeping

- Shall perform errand jobs, deliver intra and inter-office correspondence,

documents.

Section 4. - The lloilo City Government shall appropriate budget for the
implementation of this ordinance.

Section 5. - This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon approval.
