Procedimiento.-
El primer paso consiste en realizar una sobreimpresin del diente si tallar.
Se prepara el modelo arreglando los defectos con cera roja bien aislada, se moja el
yeso para que de este modo impedir que el alginato se le adhiera.
Una vez fraguado el alginato se retira el modelo de estudio y se examina la
sobreimpresin para comprobar si est completa. Se corta el exceso de alginato y se
guarda la sobreimpresin en un ambiente hmedo.
Una vez terminado el tallado de la pieza se toma la impresin del cuadrante
correspondiente y esta impresin se vaca con escayola, una vez fraguado se retira el
exceso de material.
Se comprueba el modelo, se eliminan as pelas de las caras oclusales y del surco
gingival para que no impidan un asentamiento correcto.
Se pinta con separados de resina el diente preparado y adyacente.
Se mezcla resina de color del diente con una esptula
Se pon la mezcla de acrlico en la sobreimpresin de modo que llene por completo el
rea del diente para que se hace la restauracin provisional.
Se pone el molde de escayola rpida en la sobreimpresin y se asegura de que la
alineacin y encaje sean perfectos, esto sin una presin crtica, se exprime el exceso de
acrlico y s aguanta el posicin mediante un anillo de goma
Se coloca el conjunto sobreimpresin-modelo-resina en una taza de agua caliente
por 5 min.
Se debe cuidar que el modelo este en posicin erecta de modo que el espacio entre
modelo y sobre impresin no est distorsionado y la restauracin sea uniforme.
Una vez polimerizado el acrlico se retira el anillo de goma y se separa el modelo de
la sobreimpresin, se limpia el interior de la restauracin.
Se recorta el exceso de resina con un disco de carburo. Las superficies axiales
prximas a los mrgenes se suavizan con un disco de papel de lija.
Se coloca la restauracin en el diente y se comprueba la oclusin con papel de
articular, y se ajusta con una piedra verde
Se pule la restauracin con polvo de piedra pmez y se puede dar brillo con unas
pastas de pulir.
Se debe cementar con ZOE de moderada fuerza y se elimina el exceso de cemento a
los mrgenes, tampoco se debe permitir cemento en el surco gingival, esto se puede
retirar con seda dental.
