Puppy Sale Contract

The following sales agreement is made and entered between the following
persons/entities:

Referred later as a Seller
and

Referred later as the Buyer.

The subject of the sale is the male/female puppy breed Golden Retriever color Creme and
having a pedigree name _______ (Pedigree dog name) born in Nevis on May 16, 2010.
Puppy Sire: Gabriel and puppy’s Dam: Freedom’s Glory .

The Seller declares that: This puppy is legally bred in the United States and has belonged to
its breeders. The puppy Microchip number: ___________ is identical with the number on the
puppy’s documents. All the related documents will be transferred with the puppy to the Buyer.
The Buyer may receive a copy of birth certificate together with the puppy or maximum 4 weeks
later if needed.

The Seller gives a specific guarantee concerning the puppy health, appearance and
history:

The puppy was examined and it has no major conformation problems such as wrong
bite, cow hocks, permanently pale nose, and other as described in (British) Kennel Club
Golden Retriever standard.
The puppy must be shipped with all current vaccinations and proper worm removal.
The puppy was examined by certified veterinarian and found to be healthy. It has
current vet clearance which will be sent to the Buyer.
The Buyer is advised to examine the puppy by a licensed veterinarian within one week
of receipt. Should said puppy be diagnosed by a certified specialist as being
permanently sick, genetically impaired or deformed, then the Buyer has the right to
return the puppy for the full refund. In a case of death or illness or any health condition
which prevents the transport of the animal, a verified letter from the certified
veterinarian is required.
If the puppy has visible defect which will render it not conforming to the breed standard
defined as above in future it can be returned within one month for a full refund. This
does not apply though to the temporary non-conformance occurring often during
growth stage.
Additionally the Buyer has got the right to return the puppy to the Seller for any reason
he/she likes within one month from the date of puppy delivery. In such a case a fee of
20% will be taken from the payment to cover expenses connected with finding a new
home for the puppy.
In case the client withdraws from the contract prior to shipment for any reason – the
deposit is withheld to cover the Seller’s expenses.
In all above cases the puppy must be returned within one month from delivery date. The buyer
agrees that the transport cost will be covered by the Buyer. The money will be returned after the
puppy’s arrival to the Seller in good health. Above conditions are much better for the client than
what is usually given by US breeders. It is used to balance the fact that the client has no usual
possibility to inspect a puppy personally prior to delivery.

Long term warranty: The sire and the dam of the puppy have documents issued by certified
veterinarian that were X-Rayed and they passed hips test as well as other various tests. The
Seller declares that reasonable precautions have been taken to prevent this puppy from
acquiring hereditary defects especially defects of the hips, elbows, eyes and heart. However,
due to unknown hereditary and environmental causes of such defects, no guarantee will be
given against them. However, should said puppy be diagnosed by a board certified specialist as
being affected by one of the above defects by 1.5 years of age, the seller will take the dog back
and replace it with a puppy from another breeding within one year or he will consider another
action to satisfy the client.

The Buyer declares that: The puppy will be given proper medical care including, but not
limited to vaccinations and regular worming. The buyer will provide adequate and proper shade
and housing at home or in a fenced yard for the dog. The dog will be fed everyday accordingly
to its age a proper natural food or a good quality dog food with vitamins and other
supplements. The dog will get enough food for sustained growth but not too much. It has been
proven that obesity is the major factor causing joints and hips problems. It will have adequate
and correct to his age exercise everyday. Muscle growth is very important to balance bone
growth.

The puppy is not allowed to jump down from places higher then it is shoulder like stairs or play
jumping games like Frisbee or run too long (as in running next to a bike) up until one year of
age. These conditions have been shown to bring about joint damage to still growing puppies.
The Buyer will groom, train and care for this puppy in a manner consistent with animal
husbandry practices and those endorsed by the breeder, Seller and the Golden Retriever Club of
America.

The dog should not be left for extended hours alone and the buyer should provide proper
veterinarian care with weight monitoring. This dog should never be surrendered to any animal
rescue group or animal shelter. The buyer should give to the seller current information about
this dog’s condition, size and weight and current pictures. This should happen at least twice
during first six month period after reception and at least annually later.

The buyer declares that the dog will not be bred purposefully or otherwise to other than Golden
Retriever breeds and it will not be bred without a full AKC Registration. Furthermore this
female should not be bred upon first heat or if less than 18 months old and should not have
more than one litter a year. Seller guarantee will apply only if above conditions have been
met.

The Buyer was informed and agrees to the confinement agreement. The puppy must be kept in
until it is vaccinated against Rabies at 3 months of age and for at least 30 days after vaccination.

The purchase price is $2000. The Seller acknowledges and confirms the $300.00 non-
refundable deposit obtained from the Buyer. All import costs (transport, vet certifications,
Pedigree) are included. Remaining balance of $________ will be paid in before the puppy
delivery. If air cargo delivery is required additional $_______ must be paid to the Seller for a
ticket and a crate. The Seller upon receipt of the remaining balance acknowledges that the
Buyer is purchasing the puppy with limited registration.
