Alternative ending-Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets

This alternate ending story is set in the fight between Voldemort and Harry, where

Harry has finally killed the basilisk and can now destroy the horcrux in the chamber of

secrets. But in an attempt to do this, he fails and is confronted by the horrible reality of

Voldemort coming back from the dead.

Continuing the book

Then, in a rush of wings, Fawkes had soared back overhead and something fell

into Harrys lap the diary. For a split second, both Harry and Riddle, wand still

raised, stared at it. Then, without thinking, without considering, as though he had

meant to do it all along, Harry seized the basilisk fang on the floor next to him and

plunged it straight into the heart of the bookbut it did nothing.

Harry saw Riddle laugh at the top of his lungs. For a split second Harry thought. Its

over, Voldemort is back, we are all gonna die. But Harry, even if he didnt believe it,

said. You are never going to get away with this, Ive beaten you before, what should

stop me now. Riddle laughed again and with a grin pointed the wand at Harry and

began to speak. I really dislike you, how come a silly little boy could defeat the

greatest wizard of all time, how could you, a stupid halfblood leave the greatest wizard

of all time powerless. Harry with his last breath told him he wasnt the greatest

wizard, he told him Dumbledore was, and even if he couldnt stop him, Dumbledore

would.
 As soon as he said that a gleam of hope appeared out of nowhere. It was Fawkes

again, and he was there with great company, the one and only, Albus Dumbledore.

As soon as Dumbledore landed, Tom Riddle shot a green beam of light off Harrys

wand while saying. You werent supposed to be here, you foul old man, I rue the day

you were born. Luckily Dumbledore was an old and experienced wizard with great

power and managed to miss this beam. Tom riddle shot yet another beam at

Dumbledore but this time Dumbledore responded, as both wands shot different spells

everywhere, two beams of said spells connected and formed a powerful bridge of light

that was extremely dangerous.

Dumbledore being the great wizard he is, realized that if the connection kept going,

both wands were going to break, and Riddle might get away; so, he made the quick and

wise decision to disconnect both wands and fight with normal and trivial spells. As soon

as he disconnected the wands, Dumbledore screamed Petrificus Totalus and Riddle

tumbled to the ground.

Dumbledore, relieved, turned towards harry and said with a nice grin. Lets get out

of here, I cant stand being next to this pour soul any longer. As Harry got up, he

reminded Dumbledore of Ginny and he with a simple swoosh and flick of a wand made
her wake up. The three of them, glad for their lives, left the damp corridors of the

chamber and headed towards safety. Where all their friends would be awaiting

excitedly.

As they got out of the chamber Dumbledore left them in the corridors with a smile

and said. Well kids, you should go to the hospital wing while I deal with this Riddle

crap, have a nice night and say hello to Madam Pomfrey for me, will you. Both Harry

and Ginny turned their heads and strode down the corridors glad to know Voldemort

wasnt coming back. At least for now
