Utilizamos los adverbios already, just, still y yet ms a menudo en
Ejemplos:
They have already finished their homework. (Ya han acabado sus
deberes.)
Jacob has already left work. (Jacob ya se ha ido del trabajo.)
The train has already arrived. (El tren ya ha llegado.)
Just
Ejemplos:
I just ate, but Im already hungry again. (Acabo de comer pero ya tengo
hambre de nuevo.)
Wheres Jacob? Hes just left. (Donde est Jacob? Acaba de irse.)
Beth has just moved to New York. (Beth acaba de trasladarse a Nueva
York.)
Still
hayan pasado ms pronto.
utilicemos.
Ejemplos:
I took two pills, but I still have a headache. (He tomado dos pastillas, pero
todava tengo dolor de cabeza.)
Is Jacob still working at the hospital? (Jacob an trabaja en el hospital?)
They still havent finished their homework. (Todava no han acabado sus
deberes.)
Yet
Ejemplos:
Im really hungry. I havent eaten yet. (Tengo mucha hambre. Todava no
he comido.)
Jacob hasnt left his job at the hospital yet. (Jacob todava no se ha ido de
su trabajo en el hospital.)
Have they finished their homework yet? (Ya han terminado sus deberes?)
Has the train arrived yet? (Ya ha llegado el tren?)

coloca al final de la oracin. = YA?

1. Have you had a swim yet? = Lo has hecho ya?

2. Have you said your mathematics lesson yet?
3. Have you studied Unit 17 of Conocimiento del medio yet?

RESPUESTAS:

auxiliar have y el verbo.= S, YA.

I have already had a swim in my swimming-pool.

I have already said my mathematics lesson.

= TODAVA NO, AN NO

2. Confundo still con yet.

RESPUESTAS

situacin sigue ocurriendo. Para decir lo mismo en espaol,
usamos la frase seguir haciendo algo o bien usamos
todava. Ejemplos:
I am still studying at school. = Sigo estudiando en el
Instituto. Todava estoy estudiando en el Instituto.
She is still in love with Juan. = Sigue enamorada de
Juan.

he visitado Londres todava.

STILL se coloca delante del auxiliar: I still havent

visited London.

Your answer 1: No, I havent made it yet. Im sorry.

Your answer 2: No, I still havent made it. Im sorry.

Your answer 3: Yes, I have already made it. Stop bothering me!

Your answer 4: I am still making it. Cant you see?

Your mother asks your the following questions. You may add
something else after your answer, as in the example.
