Brethren, in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star (Christ’s Universal Spiritual School of Practical Christianity), there is a Spiritual Song which states that:

The Gospel of Olumba is a consuming fire, so beware, beware, it’s a consuming fire

This Anthology Three consists of a three-volume set of gospels that were not in the Anthology Two. But really, Father’s Gospels are like a never-ceasing, ever-flowing river that goes on and on and on. Indeed one is reminded of that spiritual song which says:

Olumba’s love is so wonderful x 3 Oh, wonderful love It’s so high, you cannot reach it It’s so low, can’t get under it Its so wide, you cannot cross it Oh, wonderful love

1.   The teachings imparted to you by the Holy Spirit are neither learned nor sourced from books; rather, it is because of the love of God for humanity, He sent to us the Holy Spirit of truth, to reveal the things that were hitherto hidden from man. To avoid the people of the world saying Brotherhood of the Cross and Star does not use the Holy Bible, I chose to start teaching you from the Holy Bible. There are many teachings I have brought to mankind. Most of them are yet to be touched. That is the reason why it is disadvantageous for one to be absent from here for even one day. The members of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star are now flying like birds in the air. Every member of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star has been exposed to all the secrets of the world. These are yet the elementary teachings of the Holy Spirit which are only getting you set for the main teaching ahead. And when the advanced teachings are brought to you, you will always yearn for more.

2.    Brethren, a look at you invokes great pity. Though I preach always, but the Brotherhood Pulpit carries gospels preached once in a week on Sundays. That is to say 52 Sundays in a year. What happens to the other preachings? These are lost to all the inhabitants of the world, except to a negligible few who are here.

Yes, the anthologies alone cannot present, exhibit and display all of Father’s Teachings. John categorized the works of Our Lord Jesus Christ and concluded in the Gospel according to St. John (John 21:25), And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen Similarly, we, who have compiled this Anthology Three, also wish to state that considering the colossal and stupendous nature of the Supernatural Teachings of Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, viz: Gospels, Bible Class Lectures, Early Morning Altar Briefings, Advice and Briefings in the vestry, and Advice during Fellowship meetings, etc, etc, etc., these anthologies alone cannot document and demonstrate them all.

INDEED, THERE ARE ALSO MANY OTHER TEACHINGS OF LEADER OLUMBA OLUMBA OBU, WHICH, IF THEY SHOULD BE WRITTEN EVERY ONE, WE SUPPOSE THAT EVEN THE WORLD ITSELF COULD NOT CONTAIN THE BOOKS THAT SHOULD BE WRITTEN. No wonder, Father, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu said, once, in the vestry, that MY NAME IS THE WORD OF GOD.

PREFACE TO ANTHOLOGY TWO

Brethren, this ANTHOLOGY TWO, the second edition of the ANTHOLOGY, is in response to an order by the Holy Father and Sole Spiritual Head of the whole Universe, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu. During the Easter Pentecostal of 1990 when the Holy Father graciously gave us audience in the vestry, He asked Apostle (Capt.) Paul Ugochukwu to read through The New Dimension—Behold Him Who Is Now Revealed, by Deaconess Floria Alexander-Reindorf. Next, He asked Paul to read my booklet, The Anthology of Autobiographical Statements by Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, The King of Kings and Lord of Lords—(Anthology One), from cover to cover. Our Holy Father liked them both, so He asked that the two books be combined. Holy Father also made a comment that the Anthology one was written with the professor’s intellect, but the other booklet Behold Him Who Is Now Revealed came from the heart. Consequently, in obedience to The Holy Father, we are very happy to present this Second Edition of the Anthology (expanded with the actual gospels) as the combination that The Holy Father requested. We have titled it Anthology Two. This Anthology Two starts with a Prelude, THE NEW DIMENSION:

Behold Him Who Is Now Revealed, by Deaconess Floria Alexander-Reindorf, the Co-Author.

There are nearly two hundred (200) gospels in this Anthology Two. Furthermore, since Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is a School, i.e. Christ’s Universal Spiritual School of Practical Christianity, the Bible references in Holy Father’s Everlasting Gospels have been researched and printed. This will make Anthology Two particularly useful to all preachers. The Anthology Two is divided into 3 parts:

Part I contains Autobiographical Statements, some Bible Class Lectures, as well as other Teachings, and Everlasting Gospels by Leader Olumba Olumba Obu on important topics like: The Holy Spirit, His Mission, The Word, The Trinity, Vegetarianism, Fasting, Prayer, Baptism, Love, and Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, Humility and Forgiveness, And Mercy.

Part II consists of special Bible Class Lectures delivered by Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, The Supernatural Teacher, The Sole Spiritual Head Of The Universe, on:

(a) Recondite Wisdom Of The Holy Spirit,

(b) The Wages of Sin Is Death,

(c) Man Is A Spirit And Cannot Die.

Part III is the Holy Father’s Special Gospel on Holy Thursday: THE LORD JESUS CHRIST WAS CRUCIFIED ON THURSDAY, NOT FRIDAY.

The Appendix contains Father’s Gospels and Teachings on the First, Second and Third Steps To God. The Chapters on AMBO, Brotherhood Practices, Father’s Advice on Funerals, and Father Consoles the Bereaved, and The Brotherhood Memorandum, will help all members, new and old, of the Kingdom of God on Earth, i.e. Brotherhood of the Cross and Star

The Appendix ends with two testimonies. The first Testimony describes the miraculous healing by Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, The Holy Father, and revelation that Leader Olumba Olumba Obu is God in Man made Manifest.

The second Testimony describes His appearance to my cousin, the printer of Anthology One—in his home in Brooklyn, New York, at the very same time that I was giving testimony about the booklet—Anthology One to Him in Calabar, Nigeria. New York time is 5 hours behind Calabar time, i.e. 12 noon in New York is 5 p.m. in Calabar. This demonstrates that Leader Olumba Olumba Obu is indeed Omnipresent (i.e. appearing to my cousin in Brooklyn at the very same time that I, (C.A.R), was giving Him testimony in the Pentecostal Hall in Calabar!

Brethren, in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, the observance of Holy Thursday is sacrosanct. It is so important for the whole world to realize and appreciate the great and unique sacrifice of Our Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of our sins, that the gospel in which The Holy Father, Leader O.O. Obu, dispels the current misconception in Christendom that Our Lord Jesus Christ died on Good Friday, constitutes the grand finale (i.e. Part III) of this Anthology Two which, we hope, will be an Introduction of All Mankind to the New Kingdom of God on Earth.

Therefore, in the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ, in the Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, even now and forever more, this Second Edition of the Anthology i.e. Anthology Two, is being presented not only to baptized Brethren but also to all the reading public of the world.

PREFACE TO ANTHOLOGY ONE

This Anthology has been compiled in obedience to The Holy Father, who, in 1989 after blessing us in the vestry, asked me: Have you written my book?

We left the vestry, and I failed to ask Holy Father any questions about the book. But believing very deeply that He is the only one who knows the significance and import of the question: Have you written my book? I stopped agonizing after a while. However, now and again I would remember that question.

Indeed, on one such occasion early this year, it occurred to me that although we have Holy Father’s Gospels in books, pamphlets, magazines and newspapers, there is not a single source from which all that The Holy Father, Our Leader, says about Himself, and in His sermons and teachings, has been recorded.

Accordingly, I undertook to compile this Anthology of Autobiographical Statements and Teachings by Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, hoping that it would be the appropriate response to the question: Have you written My book?

My first inclination was to extract from the interviews that Holy Father has graciously given over the years. For this reason I reviewed and quoted from the following interviews: the World Press Conference of 1977, the Oral Tradition part of the University of Calabar Monogram on African Christianity (1983) by Nkereuwem, Umo Effiong, and Nigeria Television Authority Interview of the Holy Father, reported in the 3RD COVENANT, December, 1989.

Next, I was led to some other sources (publications) where the Holy Father has made statements about Himself, His Mission, Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, and about the times that we are in.

Since I deem it important that all readers of this Anthology realize from the outset that we have in our midst The Sole Spiritual Head of the whole Universe, I have chosen, as the title of this booklet, one of Holy Father’s own statements:

I Exist In All Planes at The Same Time.

This Anthology will be very useful to students and research workers because every statement by The Leader has reference indicating the published source of that statement. The reference consists of an alphabet which indicates the source (see References), and a figure indicating the page of that source.

With complete humility I submit this booklet to the Holy Father, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and to Brethren of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star.

HEBREWS 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

HEBREWS 10:35-39 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.36: For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.37: For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

EPHESIANS 3:1-6 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, 2: If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: 3: How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, 4: Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

5: Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; 6: That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

THE TREE OF LIFE IS THE WORD OF GOD

On the cross when He was to die, Christ said, It is finished. This fulfilled the first covenant which is stated in Hebrews 8:8-12. If He had not forgiven your sins, who would have allowed you to eat the fruit of life and live? The immutable love which God has for you is recorded in Revelation 22. Immediately God knew that man had eaten the fruit of good and evil, God ordered man out of the Garden of Eden. God’s anger subsided, and He made another covenant with man. As a result of the change of heart of God, God gave man the fruit of everlasting life back to man. THE FRUIT OF LIFE IS THE WORD OF GOD. This is explained in John 15:1-6. I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2: Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.3: Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. 4: Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5: I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. 6: If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

THE TREE OF LIFE IS THE WORD OF GOD WHICH YOU MUST EAT. MAN SHOULD ENDEAVOR TO GAIN ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH THE WORD OF GOD.

This kingdom does not admit thieves, liers, fornicators, and other evildoers. Man should practice the injunctions of God or else man is judged already. John 12:48-50. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. 49: For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. 50: And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

Do you know that my teachings will give you everlasting life? If you know this to be true, why do you not practice my teachings? THE FRUIT OF LIFE IS NO OTHER THING THAN THE GOSPEL WHICH I GIVE YOU. EVERYTHING YOU NEED IS EMBEDDED IN THESE TEACHINGS. MY TEACHINGS HAVE TWELVE DIFFERENT TYPES OF FRUIT WHICH STAND FOR THE TWELVE POWERS OF MAN.

THE SOLE SPIRITUAL HEAD BROTHERHOOD OF THE CROSS AND STAR.

INTRODUCTION

THE WORD OF GOD IS THE

IMPERISHABLE BREAD

All members of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star should stop scrambling for food, money, luxurious cars, houses, fashionable dresses, shoes, and other possessions, rather they should scramble for THE WORD OF GOD and put it into practice, because THE WORD OF GOD becomes riches, position, spirit and eternal life. (Matthew 6:19-34). The Sole Spiritual Head of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star, Leader Olumba Olumba Obu made this known while addressing members of the fold in an early morning alter brief recently. The Holy Father said that those who have THE WORD OF GOD in them, also have the attributes of God such as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness goodness, gentleness humility, meekness, faith and temperance. (Galatians

5:22-23).

Quoting John 6:51, He emphasized that all kinds of material riches, food and positions shall pass away but the bread that comes from heaven will never pass away. He wondered why people who read the Bible everyday cannot understand it, or how can somebody continue saying, till Jesus Christ comes back, as though some greater forces had banished Him to some special place but we know that OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST IS ALWAYS WITH THE FATHER ALMIGHTY SINCE HE IS THE WORD OF GOD."

The Holy Father said that those who dream and see coffins, apparitions and other evil things do so because they lack the WORD OF GOD which should be dwelling in them for it is THE WORD OF GOD that heals, gives peace and joy.

The Holy Father intimated members that "it is neither possible to work for God and please Him, nor be called a child of God, if one does not have the WORD OF GOD dwelling in him to enable him practice the injunctions of God. This is because those who profess to love God but fail to practice His words are liars and there is no life in them. (I John 2:4/Rev 2:2). The children of God do not sin because it is the WORD OF GOD dwelling in them that is directing their affairs and anytime they want to commit sin, THE WORD OF GOD indwelling them will remind them to refrain from evil practices," the Holy Father said.

The Holy Father says anybody who deviates from THE WORD OF GOD will suffer untold hardship, humiliation and shame, and unless the person repents and retraces his course back into the path of rectitude, there will be no solution to his problems. The Holy Father cited the story of the prodigal son as a typical example. (Luke15:10-32).

The Holy Father again wondered at the great favors God bestows on this generation, for they receive the word of God morning, afternoon, and in the evenings, and he stressed that immediately these teachings are assimilated one would walk fearlessly and majestically anywhere, "and above all, one will have what one desires by mere wishing or asking for it."(John14:14/John 15:7).

The Holy Father says that it is wrong for one to come to this kingdom looking for material things such as money, husband, wife, and children, instead of coming to look for Our Lord Jesus Christ who is the word of God because He is the bread of life which comes down from the High Heaven as well as the spirit of truth, and those who eat of this bread shall never taste of death. (Matthew 6:33/John 6: 33,35;6:48).

I AM ON A SPECIAL

MISSION TO THE WORLD

While I was traveling to Calabar to attend the world press interview organized for the Brotherhood Of the Cross and Star (BCS) and a possible close contact interview with Leader Olumba Olumba Obu, it struck me that my several background research efforts on the man and the BCS hardly produced any new facts outside the numerous unsubstantiated rumors that became legend.

On my arrival, Leader Obu instructed that I should be brought to the vestry and I considered it a vintage opportunity. Leader Obu who had just invited me from the altar was already waiting at the vestry door in a white tee-shirt and a wrapper. You are welcome my son. Come in, Leader Obu said cheerfully, extending his hand for a handshake. How do you feel coming in contact and shaking hands with the one that is called God? He asked with a disarming smile. I returned the gesture gratefully and said. Great, Sir. He said, But the thing with you Journalists is that you come into this place only to go back and write falsehood.

As He gently shut the vestry door behind us, He asked, My son, have you seen the ocean they say I have at the door of the vestry? I said, No, as He patiently conducted me through the rooms in the vestry He said, Feel free to search any where for the Beelzebub pot, the blood bank, the candles and incenses they accuse me of having in here. You may look under the bed. Feel the walls, and I did what he said. As we ascended to the upper apartment, He explained, "I do not want money, power nor position, yet they say that Father Obu is bad. All I have been preaching is Love, Peace, Tolerance, Righteousness and Repentance"

Q. But Father, why do they hold such opinion of you?

A. Because I am a ‘rebel.’ I refuse to conform to the world. So They keep on blackmailing me, because they are ignorant of the truth. The same was evident of the Pharisees and Sadducees who claim to be the custodians of their religion but became the bitterest antagonists and killers of Our Lord Jesus Christ who they had been waiting for. So it is in this day.

Q. Are you then Jesus, the Christ returned, or God, as your members believe?

A. ‘I am neither God nor our Lord Jesus Christ, I am OLUMBA OLUMBA OBU. I am on a special mission to the world and I have always taught you to love one another. I am not of this world for I do not speak what the Spirit does not direct me to say. My major assignment is to reform a sinner, and return him, to standard required by God.

About being called God, it is true many of them do make such pronouncements because of the wonderful acts which have been performed here. Several infirmities have been cured, hope is being given to the hopeless and love to the desolate. But it is the Father who has been doing all these works. The entire world is my witness, even the angels, I have never said that I am God. And I have never denied that it is the Father who had been doing all the works being done here on earth.

Q. Why are you called Leader?

A. I am appropriately called a leader because God has provided a living example in me for you to follow in order to lead you to God’s Kingdom. The qualities you see in me are for you to emulate. I am a model to you.

Q. Father, how would you re-act to this?(As I was speaking as He kept smiling), I have not seen any Beelzebub pot here but some insist you are of Beelzebub, by whose power do you operate?

A. Read Mathew Chaplet 12 verses 24 to 30 24: But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.

25: And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: 26: And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? 27: And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges. 28: But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you. 29: Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house. 30: He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad; and, 1 Corinthians Chapter 2 verses 10-11, 10: But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. 11: For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. 1 Corinthians 2:16: For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

All powers belong to the Father, I do not have any power of my own. But the secret of my power is in prayers. The Father grants the requests of those who have faith in Him and worship Him in SPIRIT and in TRUTH. Faith in God is not a mere claim it is the practice of the claim. Didn’t our Lord Jesus Christ say that if we have faith as little as a mustard seed that we could do greater things? I worship the Father with all dedication and devotion with every zeal in righteousness, in spirit, and truth, and He has become faithful to His words by manifesting His great powers through me, yet they say I am of Belzeebub. It’s either they do not believe in Our Lord Jesus Christ whom they claim to profess or they are saying that God is not capable of possessing such powers. But they are wrong. The things of the sprit cannot be understood by the flesh. But soon all men’s work shall be made manifest, (He quickly stated).

With a moving sense of humility Leader OBU turned to me and said. My son, let no one tell you that the One who will rule with a rod of iron will come from the Sky. Pre-empting my next question He cited the following Bible Text: "Revelation Chapter

12   verse 5 Says that he’ll be born of a woman. He will also come as a thief in the night, not to the observation or all men. Only few witnessed the ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ out of all the inhabitants if the world.

Q. Could the promised Holy Spirit be here now?

A. It is the arrival of the Holy Spirit that exposed the truth. Read John Chapter 14 versa 28:

28: Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

If you were baptized, you would know that the Holy Spirt is personified. The scripture is clear in referring to the Holy Spirit as He, Leader O.O. Obu explained.

Q. Father, how do you define heaven and hell?

A. Heaven and hell are here. They are spiritual states. Some teachings in Christendom about heaven and hell are contrary to the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ: They tell you that when you die you go to heaven. Heaven is glory. Jesus the Christ did not, and does not teach that the dead first go to glory, on the contrary He teaches that death may be overcome. If a man keeps my words he shall never taste of death.

Heaven is unspeakable joy, happiness, indescribable physical and spiritual peace, a state one attains through practicing the word of God. Death is the result of disobedience to the word of God. How can you sin and go to heaven?

Q. What sir, is the significance of the sign of the cross?

A. The sign of the cross is the mark of the wild beast. Anybody who has received the seal of the living God, which is the Holy Spirit, does not make the sign of the Cross. If you want to know what I mean by the mark of the beast, Read Revelation Chapter

13   verse 1 to the end. Pay particular attention to verse 16" Rev 13:1-18

1   And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

2   And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

3   And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

4   And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

5   And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

6   And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

7   And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

8   And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

9   If any man have an ear, let him hear.

10   He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

11   And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

12   And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

13   And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

14   And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

15   And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

16   And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

17   And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

18   Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Q. Father, what is the spiritual relevance of burning incense and candles and playing musical Instruments during worship?

A. These are all the signs of the beast. Anywhere any of those things are done, God is not there. Once you start burning candles and incense, and heating drums or clapping hands, you are invoking or inviting elementary spirits. The church denominations, sects and secret societies use these and other things to bribe elementary forces. They spend fortunes chasing shadows because they are ignorant. Do away with all these things, including charms, talismans and occult practices and you will be free and have peace. Brotherhood deals directly with God.

Q. What is Brotherhood?

A. Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is the New Kingdom of God on earth. It is the New Heaven and the New Earth

Q. At the close of time, according to a Bible prophecy, many prophets shall arise and deceive many, convince me of Father Obu and the Brotherhood?

A. Indeed the scriptures say so, Father Obu confirmed. "The scriptures also say in 1 John Chapter 4 verses 2 and 3: "Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."

There is no other group of people, not even the so-called Christendom who confess that GOD is on earth today in flesh and blood dwelling among men, but we in Brotherhood know and say it with all impunity, the Leader said.

In Matthew Chapter 24 verses 4 and 5 Our Lord Jesus Christ warned, Take heed that no man deceives you, for many shall come in my name saying, I am Christ, and shall deceive many. But I never said that I am God or Jesus. I am not a prophet, pastor or apostle, I am OLUMBA OLUMBA OBU,(He clarified and added with a compelling humility) My son you have seen and heard for yourself. With that He opened the vestry door signifying the end of the interview.

FAITH, LOVE, HOPE

A. FAITH: THE KEY OF LIFE

FAITH: THE KEY OF LIFE.

First Bible Lesson: Matthew 8:8

The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

Second Bible Lesson: John 6:63

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Golden Text: John 1:14

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Brethren, it is very pathetic that the inhabitants of the world do not understand the importance of the Word of God. The Centurion mentioned in the above Bible portion was a soldier. As was common with his associates, he was regarded as ignorant about God. More so, he was not one of the disciples of Our Lord Jesus Christ. He had faith in God.

It is an indication, the Father can pass through a tree, a stone, an animal, an insane person or a native doctor to reveal Himself. The songs rendered and the prayers offered are all the Word of God. The Word of God is all-achieving.

It takes away your problems, heals your sickness, discharges you from prison; gives you food, children, husband and wife. It also makes the blind to see, the lame to walk, the deaf to hear and the dead to resurrect. The Word of God has the power to solve all your infirmities.

The inhabitants of the world should be grateful to God, for the emergence of Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. In Brotherhood, the word has been made flesh and it dwells amongst us. This word is money, food, clothing, life and power.

Our Lord Jesus Christ said, ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:32). When the Centurion told Our Lord Jesus Christ about his servant’s illness, Christ told him, ‘I will come and heal him.’ The Centurion answered saying, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. (Matthew 8: 8).

How did the Centurion come to this understanding? The second lesson says: It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. (John 6:63). Food does not give you good health, clothing profits you nothing; money, house or man do not give you anything. It is the Word of God that bestows all things unto you.

If you had really looked for this true wisdom, brethren, you would not have allowed one minute or one day to elude you, because these words I speak to you are spirit, and they are the life eternal you are looking for.

All dreams and visions are good, and faith is good as well, but the greatest of them all is for you to come here and listen to the unadulterated gospels from the horse’s mouth.

Do not joke with the Word of God. Let your motive in Brotherhood be to assimilate and practice the Word of God. The Word of the Father has all achieving powers. Merely listening to the words can solve your numerous problems.

I sympathize with those members who do not understand the operative strategies in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. They can be likened to the hunter who carries the carcass of an elephant on his head, but with his feet, fiddles for snails. What can the Word of God not do for you? If you quit Brotherhood, where else will you go to? When you stay put, what is your mission, if you fail to receive the Word of God?

Brethren, let us learn a lesson from the Centurion. He showed tremendous faith in God. There is nothing the Word of God cannot bestow unto you. If you lack life, good health, clothing, food and shelter, the Word of God is capable of endowing you with all of them and more. If we were to know the efficacy of the word, this hall would have been filled to capacity.

Many people are saying, the Father can no longer be visited for prayers and blessings. I ask you, what is this word? The golden text says, the word was made flesh, and dwelt among us … (John1:14). Do you not know, the word is the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit? The word also is love, prosperity and all the good things in life. If you say, one can no longer see the Father, what about the words you hear? It means therefore, you are a Philip who requested, Our Lord Jesus Christ should show them the Father, so they would be satisfied. Our Lord Jesus Christ said unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake. (John14:8-11).

It is not an easy thing to know God. The Centurion knew the efficacy of God’s word. He knew, the word can make the blind to see, the lame to walk, the deaf to hear. He understood, the word is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient. But in your own case, you worship the holy oil; you want the Holy Father to pray for you, and touch you and you want to converse with Him. If all of us were to have this faith, we would have no problems. If you were to believe it is the word that heals, and does other things, you would not lament and would not get tired of listening to it.

Why does the Father emphasize the Gospel of Love? Also, in Brotherhood, there are no ceremonies, no incantations, invocations or sinister practices. Only the Word of God is preached. This is so because the word is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The word is love, truth and God who dwells in our midst. The word is the savior on earth, the light, and the one who has come to change us, and cast away all of our problems. Therefore, we should have the same faith, and believe the word has become flesh and dwells with us. If you believe in the word, all your afflictions are over.

You will have no need for the holy oil, vision, prayer; and you will cease to lament. What can holy oil or water, or man or science do for you? It is the Word of God, you should cling to. If somebody is residing in America, India or Germany, it is possible to send words to revoke all unpleasant eventualities. This word is God. Consequently, it is an act of foolishness to question the possibility of seeing somebody who stations in Calabar, in America and other parts of the world. The Centurion believed in the efficacy of the word and that was why he told Jesus Christ, he was not worthy to have Him go under his roof, but that the Lord should speak the word and his servant will be healed. No matter what you do unto the Lord, except you believe in Him, you cannot see the promised Kingdom. The word is Christ, Spirit and God. If, therefore you believe in the word, you shall have salvation. If you do not believe in Him, whatever your number of years here, you stand to profit nothing. Read the first lesson.

First Bible Lesson: Matthew 8:8

Brethren, can you now realize what is the truth? Whosoever believes in the Word of God, believes in God. Draw a lesson always from the Centurion. He had faith. Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. (Hebrews 11:1). It is like the Word of God. If you believe in the man you see, then you have no faith. If you believe in water, or holy oil, or the tree, you see, you have no faith.

Let the Word of God be the primary thing that attracts you into Brotherhood of the Cross and Star so, you will benefit more. No matter the weight of your burden of sins, the Word of God can relieve you. Your sickness and trouble vanishes away, once you listen to these words and practice same. Do not seek after the laying of hands on your head, holy bath, money or holy oil. Sincerely, practice the Word of God. When you listen to the word, believe in it and put it into practice.

It is the Word of God that changes you, gives you life, and does everything for you. Always listen to the Word of God, whether over the radio or on television, and if you believe, all your problems are solved. If you read the pamphlets published here in Brotherhood, your afflictions will be over.

A local adage says, at the direction a weeping child points, if the father is not there, the mother will be there. Why I preach without ceasing is because, I have realized this act as the only source of salvation. The word is the Holy Spirit that has come to save the world from iniquities. I know, you are heavy laden. I know, you desire salvation and, you desire to follow God. That is why, I continue to feed you with the word of God. You are called in by the word and it is the word that changes you and gives you life, peace and prosperity.

Other than the Word of God, nothing can save man from damnation. Apart from the Word of God, no other things can give life, the Holy Spirit or power. That is why, I do not relent in feeding you with the Word of God in the morning, afternoon and night. It is said: except the tree falls, the axe will never rest. If you use an axe to hew down a tree but cannot cut it, is it the hatchet that will cut it? If you cannot fall a tree with an axe, is it when you fold your arms and look at the tree that it will fall?

The peace, you are looking for, the mercy, you lack, the joy you seek after, the good health, you long to have, it is the word that can afford you all these things. Your childlessness, poverty and all your heart’s desires can only be fulfilled by the Word of God. We should the more practice the Word of God throughout our life time.

Let us believe and have hope in the Word of God. Let us put the word into practice, and we shall be saved. What man cannot do, the Word of God is capable of doing. What money cannot do the Word of God can do. Therefore, we should not toy with the Word of God and do not relent in reading the

Bible. There is nothing left or right capable of saving man other than the Word of God.

Despite the fact, you lust after money, enjoyment, house, car and other material things, you do not even believe, these things can be achieved by believing in the word. The word is food, water, cloth, shelter, life, good health, peace and all things. The Word of God conquers all things. If you were to believe in the word, you would not come here every day. The Centurion said to Christ, just speak the word, and my servant will be healed. He did not request Christ to pray or do any other thing but to speak the word.

You come here every day because you are full of complaints of lack of money, food, shelter, good health, peace and so on. These complaints are borne out of your disbelief. That woman told Our Lord Jesus Christ, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked. What did Our Lord Jesus Christ answer her? He said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it. (Luke 11:27-28).

It is now evident, we have no other friend, father or mother than the Word of God. Seek for the Word of God at all times. The Bible says, As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. (Psalm 42:1).

Our Lord Jesus Christ compared the efficacy of the word to the mustard seed. The mustard seed is about the tiniest of all seeds but when it grows, it becomes so large and shelters the birds, and animals. (Matthew 13:32). When the word is preached, it does not appear to be significant, but in the end, it becomes the living water and shelter unto mankind.

If you go to somebody’s house and he does not offer you the Word of God, leave such a house. If you enter into a church and find them drumming and clapping and they offer you something to drink without the Word of God, leave such a church. God is not in such a place. If you meet somebody on the road and he offers you money or any gift other than the Word of God, do not regard the gesture as worth anything.

The Word of God is life, truth and the only way. That is why, I will not relent in preaching the Word of God to you. A local adage has it, six days belong to the thief, but the seventh day belongs to the owner of the property. Each person has their own day when they shall hearken to the voice and be saved. Those who are meant to receive this gospel have received it and are saved. Those who are meant to have salvation tomorrow or the next day, shall hear the gospel of that day, repent and be saved.

Second Bible Lesson: John 6:63

It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Can you now realize the appropriateness of the words spoken by the Centurion when he said, I am not worthy to have thee come under my roof; but speak the word and my servant will be healed.

When Christ asked His disciples who people said He was, they told Him, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 16:14-17).

The same thing applied to the Centurion; it was not flesh and blood that revealed the power unto him, it was the Father who is in heaven that dwelt in Him. That is why, Christ said, if the Father does not reveal the Son unto you, you cannot know Him. No man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. (Matthew 11:27).

The Father is doing His work every day, yet the world continues to doubt Him. The Word also is working wonders daily, but the world continues to doubt the Word. The Holy Spirit is working every day, but the world doubts Him. It is the Spirit that gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words I speak to you, they are life and spirit. You desire for spirit and life, and these are the things I have brought to you in the world. Whosoever had no life, no spirit, no good health and no relations to turn to has them now.

Therefore Brethren, from this moment, all our hope, belief, faith and love should center on the Word. When Christ revealed Himself to the eleven disciples, Thomas was not there. But when he came back and the disciples told him, they had seen the Lord, he disputed and believed them not; arguing, he would only believe after putting his finger through the nail prints. After eight days, when they were gathered, Christ called Thomas to draw closer and thrust his fingers as desired. And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. (John 20:28-29).

Who is the one who does not see but believes? He is the person who holds unto the Word of God. How do you acquire faith? You acquire faith by listening to the Word of God and practising it. Also, you acquire love when you comply with the Word of God. You have the Holy Spirit by believing in the Word of God. You have power by believing in the Word of God. Faith is derivable from hearing the Word of God and putting it into practice. It is the Spirit that quickeneth, the flesh profiteth nothing. The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. The word is truth, wisdom, power, gives you peace, children, money, blood and strengthens your bones and muscles. It is the word that heals and changes you. The word makes the poor to be rich and fulfills your heart’s desires; both physically and spiritually. That is why, Our Lord Jesus Christ said: I am the way, the truth, and the life. (John 14:6). If you continue to gaze at the sky expecting any other savior to descend from there, you are merely wasting your time and energy. The only savior is the Word of God, which is

God, Christ and the Holy Spirit. This is the only source of salvation.

The source of your problems is disbelief. You do not believe in the Word of God, and as such, do not believe in God. Those who listen to the Word of God and believe, have faith and salvation. Even non-members have imbibed the Father’s teachings and have been transformed. They listen to the Father’s teachings at different places and have their problems solved. You claim to be members of Brotherhood for donkey years, yet your problems cannot be solved. Our Lord Jesus Christ spoke to the Samaritan woman, when He requested for some water. The woman answered Him saying: How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw. (John 4:10-15). What is that fountain of water? It is the Word of God.

Meanwhile, when the disciples of Our Lord Jesus Christ demanded him to eat with them, He answered and said: I have meat to eat that ye know not of … My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. (John 4:3234). The Word of God is food, clothing, shelter and everything. If you have the Word of God, you stand to conquer the world.

Our Lord Jesus Christ commissioned His disciples saying: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:19-20). He is the one who sends you on an errand, and also accompanies you to accomplish it. Therefore, He is the word. His words are your salvation. They are everything unto every man. It is the Word of God that guides you. It is the word that stays in front of and behind you. Most people blaspheme against Brotherhood because they do not understand it. However, they believe, Brotherhood can help people solve their problems. What is it that solves people’s problems in Brotherhood? It is the Word of God.

A blind man cannot lead another blind man. If you were to know what Brotherhood is, you would be able to explain it to the outsiders. Did you know, the word is God? The word, you hear becomes flesh and dwells with you, and dines with you.

When you tell people, there is nothing in Brotherhood, it means, you do not know Brotherhood. You came into Brotherhood with diverse problems and had them all solved by mere saying let! If, therefore, you say, there is nothing in Brotherhood, how do these things happen? When you come in here with a worldly person and try to show him the Father, he will look around everywhere and tell you he has not seen the Father. He will ask you why he cannot see the Father. Every person wants to know what is here in Brotherhood. Unfortunately, you do not know what is in Brotherhood; and so cannot explain anything about Brotherhood to any person.

In Brotherhood, it is the word that becomes flesh and abides with man. The word does all things and is in Christ, God, angels, life, good health and everything. Any time you
