Rick Solomon, MD is the founder and Medical Director of
The P.L.A.Y. Project located at The Ann Arbor Center for Devel-
opmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. Board certified in general
pediatrics and developmental and behavioral pediatrics, Dr.
Solomon has been diagnosing and treating children with
autism for over fifteen years. Under Dr.Solomon’s direction,
The P.L.A.Y. Project has trained thousands of parents and professionals throughout the United
States and internationally. Evidence for the program’s effectiveness was published in the
scientific journal, AUTISM in May 2007. Dr. Solomon has also received a prestigious NIMH
grant to continue evaluating and researching The P.L.A.Y. Project.
Check In is at 8:30am. The workshop begins at 9:00am and adjourns at 4:30pm

your preference. Written cancellation notification must be received no later than 2 weeks prior to the event, less a
$25.00 administrative fee. Substitute attendees are welcome at anytime. In the unlikely event that this program
must be cancelled, you will be notified immediately and a credit will be issued toward a rescheduled seminar, or
the entire submitted registration fee will be refunded without further liability on the part of the organizer. Please
understand, that if you do not attend, you are still liable for full payment.

8:30 Check In and Registration Certificate of attendance will be issued to all participants at the completion of the course.
9:00 Overview of Autism Participants are required to attend the entire program and complete a seminar evaluation.
DIR Principles, Strategies and Methods Amended certificates will be issued if you are unable to attend the entire program.

12:00 Lunch (on your own) Educators: This course is approved for CEU’s and CRU’s through the Indianapolis Public
1:00 Techniques and Strategies for Home and School School District.
Case Studies Speech Language Pathologists: ASHA approval is pending.
4:30 Wrap Up and Evaluations
Occupational Therapists: OPL is approved by the AOTA to provide continuing education.

education as required by many state and national organizations. An OPL representative will be
