Learning Outcomes [ASSURE (State Objectives)]:
Cognitive Development:

Children who are 48 60 months of age (Audience) know what are the features of the shape of circle (behavior)
among the different geometric shapes (condition) with 95 percent (degree)

Language Development:

Children who are 48 -60 months of age (Audience) express what they see by drawing (behavior) in their
environment and among real objects (condition) with 95 percent (degree)

Teaching Activities [ASSURE (Utilize Technology, Media, and Materials and Require Learner Participation)]:
Teacher prepares a presentation by using Prezi and she starts to the activity by presenting it to children. In the
presentation, teacher introduces the shape of the triangle to children by explaining its features. In addition,
teacher shows some real objects which looks like the shape of triangle and they discuss about the objects and their
shapes. After the presentation, teacher summarize the characteristics of the triangle to children and asks some
questions to assess their learning. Then, she wants children to go outside and observe the environment. Also,
teacher gives a paper to each child and wants them to draw their findings about the shape of the triangle on their
papers. Later, teacher wants children to talk about their findings by using their own drawings to each other. After
that, children go inside and teacher reminds the concepts of previous week which is circle and teacher shows
children an infographic which she prepared before by using Easel.ly about the shapes of circle and triangle. On
this infographic, teacher shows the example of the circle and triangle to remind the children these shapes
characteristics. Children examine the infographic as a group.
Individual Learning Activities: In the outside part of the activity, children observe the
environment and draw their findings on a paper as an
individual work.
Group Learning Activities: At the end of the activity, children examine the
infographic and discuss about the characteristics of the
shapes as a group to remind them effectively.
Summary:
This lesson aims to gain knowledge to children about the characteristics of the shape of the triangle.
After the lesson, children recognize the shape of triangle and know its features. It is a mathematics activity and
teacher uses some media tools such as Prezi and Easel.ly for the learning process.
Measurement & Evaluation:
Teacher assess childrens knowledge by using the comparing method. She prepares some media tools like Easel.ly
so that children compare the previous weeks shape which is circle with this weeks shape which is triangle.
Measurement & Assessment Activities for Teacher wants children to find objects which looks like the
Individual Performance: shape of the triangle as individual way and then children
represent and discuss about their findings to remind the
characteristics of the triangle.
Measurement & Assessment Activities for Group In outside part, children collect some materials such as
Performance: rocks, sticks, some plastics and leaves from the environment
and form their own triangle shape as a group by using these
materials.
Explanation:
Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan:
When examine the infographic, teacher can use it in a printed way if they can face any technological or
electronical problem. Moreover, f the weather conditions are not appropriate for the outside activity, teacher can
shows some objects on the internet which children can see their environment and also they can observe the
environment by looking window.
