The Future of Obama Care

With a Republican president-elect and a Congress with the majority being hidebound5

Republicans, a lot of the actions Obama issued during his presidency are in danger. It is no

surprise that Republicans are among the most willful11 politicians as many of them in Congress

prevented Obama from achieving anything during his second term simply because he was a

Democrat. Adding fire to the flame, an intractable7 Trump will enter office soon and a lot of the

things he has promised during his campaign are enough to make a person hang on for dear life

and hope for the best. Earlier in the week, vice president Mike Pence reassured that him and

Trump would continue their unyielding10 ideology and make the removal of Obama Care a

priority upon entering office. Pence met with Republicans from the House of Representatives

where he argued that Obamacare has failed in a very unwavering8 manner presenting no

evidence to support his position. His claims are only further proof of his obstinate2 conduct

because numbers show Obamacare has actually benefited Americans with more people being

covered and an increase in people signing up for it. White House press secretary Josh Earnest has

argued Obamacare has done a lot to resolve6 the health issues in this country before it was passed
and that once dogmatic3 Republicans repeal it, the country will face devastating consequences.

New York governor Andrew Cuomo has further highlighted the possible consequences of

adamant1 Republicans by stating that almost 2.7 million in New York alone will be left without

health insurance and that the city will lose $595 million every year in federal money if

Obamacare is repealed. It is clear none of these and other claims will do anything to change the

mindset of obdurate9 Republicans, especially Donald J. Trump who has gained countless support

for being recalcitrant4 in the past.
