I landed for the first time on the Island of Gods in November 2016. The prospect of discovering intertwined
landscapes was my main aspiration, and the island was so captivating with a variety of landscape and each
one has its own unique texture, from white sandy beaches to volcanic mountains. All of this beauty allows
me to capture how local humans preserve their culture to connect with natural elements.
