TEACHING PHILOSOPY
I believe that each student is unique and deserves a respectful, safe, caring environment to support
emotional, intellectual, physical and social growth. As an educator, I strive to help students meet their
fullest potential by offering the opportunity to study things that are meaningful and relevant to their
lives and interests. As a first-year teacher, I will focus on designing curriculum that is relevant and
hands-on and show my students how to become responsible for themselves as well as their own
learning. Finally, I want my students to feel success, to believe in themselves and to love themselves so
they may become caring and active members of society.
