First,becauseeverythingthatweregoingtobedoinghereonlyrequireslinearandhomogeneouswewont
requireconstantcoefficientsinourdifferentialequation.So,letsstartwiththefollowingIVP.

knowfromthePrincipleofSuperpositionthat

generalsolution.Inorderfor(2)tobeconsideredageneralsolutionitmustsatisfythegeneralinitial
