The twins of San Ramon

Felix and Adan are twins that assist to the school Emmanuel
Mongalo, situated in Pueblo Viejo, a community of Matagalpa,
Nicaragua. They are very poor. The have many brothers. In
school they dont only find formal education, they also find
friends, company, protection because their parents are working
all day in the fields, and cant take care of them; and the most
important is that in school they find food. Thats because there
isnt enough money in their house to eat. That why they assist to
the school and they assure their food.

Spanish Olympics
Sandra Perez, lives in Matagalpa, she walks two hours every
day to school. She is very humble. She doesnt have books,
pencils nor shoes. Despite hat shi is a good student. Thats why
she was elected to participate in the National Spanish Olympics
in Nicaragua. When she was elected she was very happy, it was
a very big recognition for her to participate in that. But when it
was time for her to go she notice she didnt have anything to
wear, not even shoes, nor clothes. She had to go with the old
clothes se had, and with sheets of paper. It was the same, she
didnt win but she represented Matagalpa with a lot of pride.
