While this pressure Px is below a certain level, the hydraulic reaction on piston B inserted in the servo spool is smaller than the force of spring A and, therefore, the servo spool remains at the maximum deliv- ery position under the pressure Px on piston R and the force of spring R, as shown in Fig. 4. When pump pressure Px rises beyond Pl, corresponding to the 1st inflec~ tion point (Fig. 5), the hydraulic reaction on piston B overcomes the force of spring A (or A and B) to push the servo spool leftward. As the result, the servo 2ndary pres~ sure chamber is connected to the pump pressure Px, allowing the pump pressure to enter the area on the right side of the power piston, Servo 2ndary pressure chamber Smee R101-2101 101-2101 HYDRAULIC _PUMP. (PRB 2A ) CALA LEICRLHEE IOSD 5 IERIE BS w 101-2101 HYDRAULIC Since the sectional area of the power piston is sufficiently larger than that of piston R, it overcomes the swash plate reaction and piston R force to move leftward following the servo spool to decrease the delivery flow rate. The leftward motion is stopped when the servo 2ndary pres- sure chamber is disconnected. Note that while spring A alone is exert~ ing force on the servo spool, the pressure is between Pl and P2, and when springs A and B exert force, the pressure is between P2 and P3. (P2 is the 2nd inflection point pressure.) On the other hand, when the delivery pressure falls from a high level, the servo spool is pushed rightward by spring A (or A and B) as the hy- draulic reaction exerted on piston B weakens. The servo 2ndary pressure chamber is connected to Z, and the tank circuit is opened. The arm (cam) is pushed back by the force of spring R and piston R until the power piston cones to disconnect the Servo 2ndary pressure chanber. As described above, the piston pump is so controlled that the servo pis~ ton is moved by the difference of force between hydraulic reaction exerted on piston B and the combined force of the horsepower setting springs A and B, and the power pis~ ton follows this servo piston motion to change the inclination of the arm and the cam. The maximum delivery position is determined by the power piston posi- tion, which in turn is determined by the sleeve screwing position. The Ist inflection point is deter- mined by the position of nut A and nut Boon the servo spool, and the 2nd inflection point is determined by the spacer thickness. The gradient of the horsepower curve is deter- mined by the spring constants of springs A and B. 101-2101 PUMP (LER bY BICHEAT SERIO FT SOT, YOR AS- MEAT ILIA (RUAROB OM ANCL 2 TERRE I, HK 2 FEI EUR ZLMML TAY 2 OURICMM SNS, Ko T2T9 LIREEARLREDIICL YT —bCWA) tke Hike 2 MIRE, 89-22 ba A 2 IETS Sih $5 OLR THIEL RTS DLEDRRICER by RY SOMME A by BIC EA F BANE BIBER A TY FARDB EON DNILAIE DHEA YDS, CHIC LAby eMEHM Se, 7- ARIS D AONE BEAR RIC OTORT.
