ARTICULACIN DEL TARSO 3/5 Y EFUSIN ARTICULAR.

DESCRIBIR HALLAZGOS RADIOGRFICOS:

Figure 6.22(a) Plantarolateral-dorsomedial oblique view of a hock. There is

considerable modelling of the sustentaculum tali (arrow) which was associated
with distension of the tarsal sheath and severe lameness.

Figure 6.22(b) Dorsoplantar (flexed) view of the same hock as Figure 6.22a.
Note the irregular contour of the surface of the sustentaculum tali (arrow) over
which the Deep digital flexor tendon passes, and the poorly defined opacities in
the soft tissues medial to the calcaneus.

Tenosinovitis aguda de la vaina tarsiana

INDICAR PRONSTICO
El pronostico ser favorable siempre que el caballo este en reposo, no existen
lesiones en el tendn y se comience de inmediato con el tratamiento
apropiado. Con un enfoque teraputico inapropiado se puede desarrollar una
tenosinovitis crnica.
