Closing
Give a chance for each child to present & discuss about his/her art.
Document children work through different kinds of documentation, to allow
the students to view and respond to a highlighted learning experience.
Planning:
We planned to start the day with a song. The learning outcomes

is to identify phonemes in words. Such as Hello, Toes, Feet.

The them was about fruits &vegetables, and our art technique

was about Blow painting, there is no relate between these two.

But we make connection through asking the children to say the

fruit or vegetable name by pointing to the color such as red for

apple, yellow for banana. Blow painting leads the child to

expands his imagination by create a story, develop his fine motor

skill. Moreover, the child will be able to know another way to

paint without make the brush touch the paper. We planned our

lesson from the philosophy of Reggio Emilia, That the children

must be independent, learn through experiences, different

materials and explore the world around them. Thats why we give

them the freedom to choose any color, do not interfere in their

work. Lead them to show their creativity.

Examples:
After we finished from the greeting and the song. We start our main activity;

the learning outcomes was Create long and short objects, lines in exploration

and play.

I model the procedures in front of the children, so they can see, have an

idea. But I kept repeating that everyone will chose their own color and

design, so the children not just copy what I did. After all that I let the

children start but I noticed that it was difficult for some children to

understand the third step, which is scatters the paint by shaking the brush

with one finger. They are not accustomed to use the brush in this way. But

the lesson is about knowing this new, unique way to paint. Thats why I tried

to model it again, make the instruction easier. According to Skinner theory

the Positive Reinforcement will lead the child to feel more confident,

motivated. Thats why I used the positive reinforcement. I kept praising

them Which I observe that they get motivated, excited to show me their

creativity.

My Example:
Children creative work

Maitha: At first she starts to paint with the usual way, but after I
model it again she did it in the right way.

- She is a quite girl, thats why she didnt speak much. But she

said that her favorite color is blue.

- I recognize that she doesnt want to exchange the table. It

shows that she is loving this art technique. She stayed for a

long time to finish her art.

- According to her teacher she likes to paint.
- She achieved the learning outcomes 2.

Maithas
work

Mahra:
- She gets the steps immediately, when I model it.
- She tried to use most of the colors. Because she like rainbow.
- According to her teacher she is socialize.
- She achieved the learning outcomes 2.

Mahras work

Gaith:

- He was excited for

doing the art technique,

but at the same time he

was shy.
- His favorite color is

black.
- According to his teacher he is an energetic boy but she was

surprise from his behavior in the circle time, he was quiet

and nerves maybe because of us. But I tried to make him

feel safe, comfortable. By praising, speaking about his art.

- He achieved the learning outcomes 2.

Gaiths work

Mira:

- At first she starts to paint with the usual way, but after I

model it again she did it in a right

way.
- She is a confident girl; she was

telling me her art story. The

characters were princes, monster.

- Her favorite color is pink, it shows from her art, she didnt

use any other color she was insisting to use only pink. Per

Piaget children in this age become more egocentric, stay on

their opinion, assumes that other people see, hear, and feel

the same as the they do.

- He achieved the learning outcomes 2.

Miras work

Reflection:
I had a good time with the children, and I think the children did a

great job. Which lead them to achieved

the two-learning outcome, some of the

children try to identify the letter

sounds, and all of them recognize the

short and long lines. But

the most important is

that they loved, enjoyed

the two activities.

Almost every child in the class participate in our art technique,

maybe the straw, colors grape their attention. What was more

challenging for me? I think the age, because they were too young,

and they take time until they get the third step. But I learned

from this experience to be ready for any challenge. I evaluate the

children through observing, asking questions.

Documentation:

I use four different kinds to document the children work one is

taking pictures,

two record video and

third

documentation panel. And last one is portfolio. Moreover, I asked

them to talk, express their art to their friends. They were proud

when they saw their art is hanging.
