RELEASE: Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. Establishes First Chapter At A

Religious Institution
Eight Women Found Alpha Pi Colony of Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. at Our Lady
of the Lake in San Antonio, Texas

San Antonio, TX -- Today, the founding line of Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc.s newest chapter,
located at Our Lady of the Lake University in Texas, will be emerging at 8:08pm. The eight women have
worked hard to establish the sorority in San Antonio, and are Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc.s first
chapter at a religious university. This is also the organizations first expansion project in Texas since 2009.
PrvideNtial ight, as the founding line of the will be known, joins Delta Xi Nu Multicultural Sorority, Inc. as
the only other Multicultural Greek-lettered organization on the OLLU campus.

Establishing Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. on the OLLU campus is a testament to the campus
promotion of diversity, said Soror Jill Mata, who led the expansion effort. OLLU has a long history of
respect for diversity of experience, thought, and expression, as well as service to the community, all of which
align with our Sororitys mission and the passion of the women we attract.

PrvideNtial ight will belong to the Lake Greek Council on the OLLU campus, which includes organizations
who have a special interest or focus. The 8 women join the over 1,500 initiated members of Theta Nu Xi
Multicultural Sorority, Inc. across the country, on the organizations 20th anniversary. They come together
from different races, cultures, religions, backgrounds, and lifestyles hoping to expand on OLLUs existing
culture of welcoming diversity and multiculturalism. The expansion effort was led by Jillian Mata, whos been
a member of Theta Nu Xi since the year 2006 when she joined at the Phi chapter located at UT-Austin. She
was aided by 11 other dedicated sisters.
