Learning Student will be able to solve problems involving addition
Objectives and subtraction. They will learn to solve these problems
with objects such as unifix cubes, and the help of
technology, such as math apps or websites involving
addition and subtraction.
Technology Students will use computers to work on practice
Uses problems such as addition, subtraction,
multiplication, and division.
Student will use the site
https://www.coolmath4kids.com/ to practice math
problems and have fun doing it.
Students will also have access to iPads for more
math problems to work on. Teacher will use an
Overhead Projector to show students how to solve
problems step by step.
Teachers will also use computers and printers to

Materials Students will need notebooks, folders, pencils,
crayons, and Unifix cubes.
Teacher will also need their own supplies such as
pencils, pens, markers, papers, stickers, listening
equipment such as headphones for lab time, dry
erase markers and whiteboards.
Procedure During a lesson, the teacher shall hand out a worksheet
of math problems for the students to work on. The
teacher will explain what needs to be done, and then
he/she will demonstrate for the student. For example,
he/she will write the first problem on the board and ask
any of the students if they know how to solve it, then you
would ask 2 students to volunteer so you can
demonstrate the problem (5+10). After that you then give
one student 10 unifix cubes and the other student 5 unifix
cube, after you handed out the unifix cubes to each
student, ask them to combine them and add up the total
to find the answer (15). After the demonstration, the
teacher will put the student in groups and ask them to
work together to solve a worksheet of problems. Student
may use any strategies they have to solve the problems
as a group.
Assessment To determine whether the student understood the
lesson, they will be assigned homework that involves
addition and subtraction problems that the student can
work on at home. Student will also be asked to find an
app/website that they can practice math problems on to
exercise their brains.
