how sleep derivation causes students to do poorly in school. Studies from 1991 until 2012 found that a

quarter of a million students do not get seven hours of sleep every night. Not enough sleep has lead to

problems in school performance, Mental health issues, Reckless behavior, along with other medical

issues. Sleep deprivation to adolescents proves to be bad in all parts of a child's life.

The writer wrote this source to inform the general public about how not getting enough sleep is

hazardous for kids. The author used a lot of statistics to help back up what he was saying. This is a

credible source because it has information that is from a span of about 20 years that is consistent. The

author used credible facts and statistics.

I will use this source near the beginning of my paper to discuses how adolescent sleep deprivation is

not only bad for childrens educations, but also their health.

depth look into sleep derivation for adults and how it effects them also. This article looks at the amount

of Americans of all ages with different forms of sleep disorders. The article further goes into discusing

whether classes (high school and college) should start later.

The purpose of this article was to inform Americans of all ags about how sleep deprevation is really

impacting their lives and making them much harder. The author does this though many, many statistics

and facts. This is a credible source because the information is relevant and useful. The information used

is statistically backed up.

I will use this article though out my paper because there is a lot of really great information for my paper

that can be used though out.

effects of sleep deprivation. Sleep deprivation can be caused by many things such as long hours at a job

as the article shows. A lot of car accidents are caused by sleep deprivation a recent study found. The

article goes into detail about how sleep deprivation can cause harmful effects to ones life outside of

sleeping past your alarm.

The purpose of this article is to inform all people about the dangers of sleep deprivation. The article

uses facts and statistics to show how dangerous sleep loss can be. This is a credible source because the

author uses current information used in studies. The author uses many facts.

I will be using this source in the middle of my paper to describe the dangers of sleep deprivation.

depending on their sleep. This book is a help book for parents to help their children sleep. The book

gives reasons as to why children don't sleep along with statistics to back this up.

The purpose of this book is to help parents get their children to sleep. The book was written for parents

of infants, toddlers and teenagers to help them sleep. This is a credible source because it give facts and

statistics behind sleep deprivation.

I will be using this book in the beginning of my essay to show how sleep deprivation is a problem that

can affect everyone.

disorders, abstructive sleep apnea and emotional or mental conditions.

The purpose of this article is to inform teens and parents af the importance of sleep and how easy it is

for teens to suffer from sleep deprivation. The content of this article gives many details to the reader

about sleep deprivation. The source is credible because it was written in the last few years and it gives

many statistics.

I will be using this throughout my essay because it is about my topic. I will also be using this website

because it has sleep patterns for every age and gender.

The purpose of this website is to inform people about sleep. The website gives special information and

sources that can be looked at by people with sleep deprivation. You can become a member of this

society in simple steps. This is a credible source because it gives many facts and statistics about sleep.

I will use this website in my research paper to give examples of sources that can help people with sleep

problems.

Author: Unknown. Title: Teens and Sleep. Source: National Sleep Foundation. This source gives details

of sleep deprivation. It also gives detail of why different lifestyles and body types need different

amounts of sleep. The article shows that most teens need eight to ten hours of sleep although most

teens cannot fall asleep until 11 PM. Teens tend to have irregular sleep patterns because of this. This

causes sleep debt.

The purpose of this article is to inform teenagers about their sleep patterns and about sleep debt that

faces most people. The article discuses how long each age group needs to sleep. This is a credible

article because it is from the National Sleep Foundation which is a credible sources. It is also a

relatively new article with new information.

I will be using this article in the middle of my essay to discuses why the amount of sleep needed by

individual teens may vary when compared to group studies.
