Deontology
The moral status of an action does not
only depend on the consequences the
action produces.
An action is morally right if and only if it
is universalisable and it treats human
beings as ends-in-themselves.

An action is morally right if and only
if it is an action that a virtuous
person would do in the situation.
Moral virtues are character traits
necessary for a good human life.
For example, loyalty, benevolence,
justice, honesty etc.

morally considerable. The
environment as a whole is morally
