ANSYS AQWA software is an engineering analysis suite of tools that enables you to investigate the effects of wave, wind and current on floating and fixed offshore and marine structures, including spars, floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) systems, semi-submersibles, tension leg platforms (TLPs), ships, renewable energy systems and breakwater design.
About the Training
The course will cover the general use of features within the AQWA software, through both the Workbench interface and direct use of the solver. ANSYS Aqwa / Mechanical Load Mapping for a Transport Barge Pre-requisites Each course chapter is followed by "hands-on" Some knowledge of naval architecture or offshore workshops and exercises. engineering is desirable Completion of the Introduction to ANSYS Mechanical course is preferred General familiarity with the Workbench Project Page, Engineering Data, Meshing and the Mechanical Interface is assumed
