Science: seasons lesson (Reflection)

The learning objectives for this lesson are:


Student Identify the different seasons and the kinds of the weather found in
each one, explain the pattern that seasons follow throughout the year and
explain how changes in weather affect plants and animals. I achieved all
lesson objectives during the activities. For instance in Crafts activity: students
identify the different seasons and the kinds of the weather found in each one.
Note that includes worksheet: students identify the different seasons and the
kinds of the weather found in each one, and explain the pattern that seasons
follow throughout the year. Presentation (present the note : explain how
changes in weather affect plants and animals and identify the different
seasons and the kinds of the weather found in each one. Discussing + think
(PowerPoint): Identify the different seasons and the kinds of the weather
found in each one and explain how changes in weather affect plants and
animals. I use different strategy to explain for them meaning of weather
pattern, first I give them example of pattern by ask them I need volunteer
then I chose 3 girls and 3 boys they make line. First example is 2 girls then
2boys then 1 girls after that student guess what come next boy or girl.
Second example is 2 boys then 1 girl then 2 boys what is come next, in this
way I explain for them real meaning of patter. After that we move to weather
pattern and student understand it. In this lesson I chose the activities
carefully and each activity depend and linked with each other. First step,
they understand the meaning of seasons and weather pattern from the
PowerPoint and know the 4 different seasons. Second step, student did the 5
different craft for 5 groups. Third step student complete the note that include
3 work sheet that depend with craft each group did for example the group
who did the spring season which is flower craft their answer depend to the
spring season which mean in worksheet there are different type of question
one example is (What outdoor activity can we do during this season?) so
student think and draw in the box. Forth step, they present their craft and
worksheet for student and give them information about the season such as
the weather, clothes they wear and activities they could do in this season. I
face difficulty to explain for the student the way we go for the activities and
each of them depend with last and next activity. The downside for the lesson
is we dont have enough time to finish it so it must take 2 lesson because it is
include crafts so the student spent more time with it. On the other hand the
upside is student enjoyed the activities and they were busy all the time and
work together.

This lesson was review for the student, they practice 10 different words
before the dictation date. I selected interest activities that combining learning
and play in same time. Especially the activity (I spy with my little eye) when
students try to find the word around the class so first they listen to the
definition after that the try to find the word around the class. They feel happy
and enjoy the lesson. Others activities that I did in this lesson are reading the
word from the cards, puzzle activity and writing in the white board. I try to
find this type of activities in next lesson because it is very affect student
learning they learning by doing and playing and make challenge between the
students.

Science: Summer and winter (Reflection)

For this lesson I used two new style of learning. First I used video that explain

winter and summer so good idea to change the style or routine and student

learning is good idea but its need more practice because it is new way of

Math: Time to Hour and Half Hour (Reflection)

In this lesson student most of student are able to write the time in two
different way in analog clock and digital. The activities help them to practice
such as nard game, my time and activity and using real clock. From what I
observe I believe student learn by doing that help them to understand the
lesson because as we know student have different learning style such as
visual, aural and physical skills. So I try to use these different learning style in
my lesson. My MST likes the clock activity when student use real clock and
present time and she said it is great idea. Always I discussed with my MST
about type of effective activity that help and improve student learning and
way I give them the lesson and some strategies I used.

while they are working and doing the activities. Each activity include one or

achieved these objectives effectively during the activity time by walk around

The activities for this lesson depend what student focusing on English
subject. All the activities I chose develop student in literacy which is reading
and writing. Student like activity time they are excited to do different
activities. for low level student the classify the picture for he and she in right
place while medium level the try to blend the sound and read the word than
put it in right cups which are he cup and she cup. High level student read the
sentence and try to find out the noun and verb words from sentence. All the
activity are switch between the groups.

Student change the routine when they doing these two activity which are
measuring the objects in the class by using paper clips and square paper. So
this activity led student to explore the result by themselves and help student
to depend by themselves to know and find the result that will develop
