Riverdale Middle School Piano

Lesson Plan
Date 3/6/17

GLEs:
M-CE-M1, M-CE-M2

Objectives:
The learner will be able to count and play various rhythms on various chords

The learner will be able to learn music individually, collaboratively, and during group
rehearsal

Rationale:
Working together with others is vital for musicians, and this is a skill that can be
improved by working with a partner

Because many of the students do not have their own guitars at home, practicing both on
their own and during rehearsals will allow them to ask the questions they need and hone
in their muscle memory to play the music.
