Celebration for

Macomb County Teachers of the Year

Planned for April 20

For thirty-one years, the Macomb County Association of School Administrators and the Macomb Association of
Curriculum Administrators have honored elementary, middle and high school teachers nominated by local districts at a
special recognition event held every year. This year, the event will be on April 20 at the Macomb Intermediate School
District. Sixty-three teachers will be formally appreciated by their family, friends, School Board members,
Superintendents and Curriculum Administrators in the county. Macomb Community College, Vice-President for College
Advancement and Community Relations and Co-President of the Michigan State Board of Education Dr. Cassandra
Ulbrich will also be present to congratulate these teachers and their families. Michael DeVault, Superintendent for the
Macomb Intermediate School District says, we offer our congratulations to all of these fine educators who have dedicated
themselves to making a difference in the world everyday. The honorees for 2017 are:
