Achieved successful commissioning of 750 miles crude oil pipeline in India by leading
a team and pumping product in the pipeline at 90% of operating pressure.
Team lead responsible for phase wise construction of 750 miles pipeline.
Coordinated construction of pumping station, pigging stations and valve stations as
per OISD guidelines.
Carried out design for the optimum diameter of the pipeline project for 162 miles
pipeline considering the capital cost and maintenance cost of the system for 35 years
and pipe hydrology.
Coordinated with design team to prepare the design basis, parameters and layouts of
the buildings.
Coordinated construction of oil dispatch terminal and oil receiving terminal per OISD
guidelines.
Supervised construction of 16 sectionalizing valve stations including structural and
architectural works.
Scheduled various phases of -588 miles pipeline project along with the cost
monitoring.
Managed the manpower resources and optimized for early completion of 588 miles
crude oil pipeline
construction.

EDUCATION
Master of Science in Structural Engineering Dec 2014
University of Florida, Gainesville, USA GPA:
3.81/4.0
Related coursework: Design of Highway Bridges, Finite Elements Analysis,
Prestressed Concrete, Structural Dynamics, Design and construction of Timber, Deep
Foundation, Behavior of Steel Structures, Advanced Structural Analysis.
Research Assistant- University of Florida (FDOT)
Studied feasibility of replacing grout with grease/wax for replaceable unbonded
tendons.
Designed and detailed steel support frame, anchor blocks and deviation blocks for
the mock-up test of
unbonded tendons.
Mock up injection to check the constructability of unbonded tendons with
grease/wax, pressure and thermal behavior during the pumping and checking
voids generation.
Assisted FDOT in preparing specifications for unbonded tendon system (construction
and grease/wax
injection).

PROJECTS- University of Florida

Dynamic structural adequacy of an ofice building: The project involved
generating the time history response of office building. Modal participation was
calculated and NHERP provisions were used to generate the actual loads on the
building. MATHCAD & VISUAL ANALYSIS were used to generate the modal behavior
of the building.
Analysis of prestressed bridge girder: The project covers the analysis of a
prestressed bridge girder for the serviceability and strength check for fexure and
shear as per ACI 318. Results were verified with the Concise Beam.
Linear analysis of the steel bridge leaf structure for service loads:
Conducted Finite Element Analysis
for a steel bridge leaf structure for its service loads viz. lane and truck loads,
temperature and pedestrian
loads. The model was prepared in Finite Element Software ADINA and service
stresses were checked to
be within yield stress.
Design of mobile lattice tower for hurricane research: The project involved
deigning of mobile lattice
tower and connections under the given weight and deflection conditions. The model
was prepared and
analyzed in Finite Element Software STAAD PRO for the deflection limit under service
loads.
