regulation (2.2) is achieved by focusing their
attention and avoiding distractions. By placing
other toys around the Easter eggs, I am
challenging their ability to focus. However, if they
can stay engaged then it will enhance their
attention regulation.

8. Show them half of an egg and ask them to find
the other half based on the pattern, colour or
number
9. Hold up an egg and ask what colour is my egg?
10. Ask the toddlers to help you clean up
Teaching Strategies:

1. The first teaching strategy I will use is challenges.

To use this, I must find a way for the toddlers to
create their own solutions. For example, if I show
them one half of an egg and ask them to search
for an egg that has the same pattern, then I will
be challenging them. Also, if I ask them to show
me all similar coloured eggs or how to fix the
puzzle pieces then they will be finding new ways
to use the Easter eggs.

2. The second teaching strategy I will use is

questions because the toddlers will be able to
use their word more. If I ask them to find the
other half of the egg Im holding or if they can
count to 5 then they will be able to either
verbally or physically answer my questions.
Questions are a simple yet beneficial teaching
strategy because it gets the toddlers thinking and
keeps them more involved.
