An Exclusive Look Into my Daily Fitness and Productivity Routine

Fitness wise I do the following each week:

Strength train 4 days

Mobility for 20-40 minutes every day

Self myofascial release with foam roller, LAX ball, etc. for 15-30 minutes every day

Brutally intense hike, running Walter Payton style in the Santa Monica mountains 2
days per week

Surfing 3-4 days

Walking for 30 min 4-7 days

Yoga 3 days per week

Going to get into a restorative martial art like Thai Chi soon as well

Recovery wise:

Massage at least once, sometimes twice per week

Float tank session for two hours twice per week

Treatment with ART, acupuncture or some kind of specialist 2-4 times per month

For productivity:

Meditate first thing in am while practicing deep breathing

Read a passage from something like Seneca, Marcus Aurelius, Bruce Lee, Tao Te
Ching, etc.

Read whatever book I am currently working on for 30 minutes


Identify the most important task of the day and 2-3 other sub or less important
tasks that will be attacked only after the MIT is done

Phone, email, social, stat checking sites are all blocked during this time

Use timed blocks for maximum efficiency

Know what my mission and bigger purpose is

Know what is really important to me

Know what Im working for

Keep my eyes on the prize and dont get distracted

Know that being too busy means you suck and are lazy and inefficient

Know that each day I need to spend a lot of time being physically active and away
from work. So theres no time to waste. Get shit fucking done.
