Our Work
GeoAdaptive is a global sustainability research consultancy
specializing in socio-ecological interactions, spatial economics,
infrastructure, and land analysis. We help clients solve complex
problems by applying advanced geostatistical and research-
based approaches, which help them to adopt innovative
interventions for their territories and assets.
Our services support anticipatory and preventive territorial
planning and strategic visioning to secure a sustainable future,
through the exploration of future regional growth scenarios and
research into productive and sustainable planning strategies
using geographic information systems (GIS). In doing this,
we empower our clients decision-making, by reducing risk
and maximizing opportunities associated with future regional
change, including conservation and integrated development
strategies.

The GeoAdaptive team shares a commitment to work

Our list of clients includes bilateral and multilateral
organizations, private sector, investment and infrastructure
banks, foundations, and national and regional governments
in more than 17 countries in several continents. At
GeoAdaptive, nearly ninety percent of our current work is

camaraderie that is emblematic of our work.

collaboration led by a team of experts, forming a creative environment where ideas are cross-
fertilized and solutions emerge as a joint effort. This is translated to our clients in the form of in-
depth knowledge and unique insights that create innovative solutions. Throughout this process,
the team works closely with the client, ensuring that discussions, explorations and proposals are
well-aligned to create value both as a product and as a process. At GeoAdaptive we are proud that
our team can communicate in 6 different languages, and that nearly ninety percent of our current

Each team at GeoAdaptive functions on four base principles: empathy, integrated thinking,
experimentation, and collaboration. The application of these principles allows us to work with our
clients in collaborative ways. We are composed of professionals with advanced degrees in a wide
range of disciplines including: engineering, planning, urban design, risk evaluation, environmental
science, economics, public policy, remote sensing, geographic technologies, business and
finance, and architecture. Most of our staff have masters and PhD degrees from prestigious
universities in the USA, Asia, and Europe. In addition, GeoAdaptive maintains a wide network of Capacity building workshops
academic and professional advisers who bring rich and in-depth knowledge in highly specialized
disciplines from a variety of locations around the world.
