For the New Battery Room for Golar Hilli FLNG Project, the following batteries are installed with 80 pcs. of Powersafe 12V190F, 18
pcs. of Powersafe 12V155F, 36 pcs. of Powersafe 12V62F and 220 pcs. Of Hoppecke 5OPzV 350 battery and which will have
approximate 98 kVAh. ( Vented Batteries : 77 kVAh + Dry Batteries : 21 kVAh )
a. DNV Requirement # 1 : 10 x sum of battery kVAh for vented batteries and 2 x sum of battery kVAh for dry batteries
Based on requirement 1, approximate ventilation rate requirement is 812 CMH ( m3 / hr ).

b. DNV Requirement # 2 : at least 6 air changes per hour

Based on requirement 2, approximate ventilation rate requirement is 580 CMH ( m3 / hr ).

c. Reference to vendor document C110-M418.01, vendor had used client provided data such as equipment heat dissipation of 4,000
watt for final ventilation rate calculation. The final ventilation rate provided for the New Battery Room is 2,900 CMH which is
higher than DNV requirement # 1 and # 2.

102085 / Several schematic show two-way manual valves with a note " Use pneumatic hand valve to shutdown damper ". A two-way valve will Pending
106384 lock in the air pressure and the damper will remain open until the air leaks away. In order to close the damper these valves must be
changed to 3-way such that the damper actuator is vented to atmosphere. Please revise.

Vendor Response :
Vendor will be designed to use 3 way hand valve as additional safety device that will install outside the damper at convenience
location to operator. The vendor had provided factory installed quick exhaust valve ( item no. 5 ) on each damper that mounted close to
damper's actuator. Vendor had update the document accordingly.
