DISCLAIMER
I have of my own accord decided I wish to rent the property for a lease term of months,
commencing on and acknowledge the rent of $ per week is within my
means of support.
The bond and initial rent must be paid by electronic transfer and must be cleared funds before
moving into the property, details of which will be supplied to me upon signing the lease. Rental
payments will be collected in one single monthly installment.
I understand and agree that PRDnationwide Canberra will carry out routine inspections on the
property. The first inspection will be carried out within approximately 1 month of the start of my
tenancy and future inspections will be carried out every 6 months. I agree that I will cooperate
fully to allow these inspections to be carried out.
I understand that the final approval of the tenancy is at the owners discretion. I agree that
should this application not be successful, the agent is not required to supply any reason for the
rejection unless the application is declined as a result of my name being listed with a tenancy
database.
All applications are approved on the basis that all tenants agree to have rental payments direct
debited from a bank account.
If you do not agree to these terms your application will proceed no further.

DISCLAIMER
The personal information that you provide in this application and collection from other sources
is necessary for PRDnationwide Canberra to verify your identity, to process and evaluate
your application and to manage the tenancy. Personal information collected about you in
this application and during the course of the tenancy, if your application is successful, may be
disclosed for the purpose for which it was collected. These other parties include landlords and
their advisers, referees, other agents and third party operators of tenancy reference databases.
Information already held on third party operators of tenancy databases may also be disclosed to
PRDnationwide Canberra and/or our landlord. If you enter into a Residential tenancy agreement,
and if you fail to comply with your obligations under that agreement and if you fail to comply
with your obligations under that agreement, that fact and other relevant personal information
collected about you during the course of the tenancy may also be disclosed to future landlord,
third party operators of tenancy reference databases or other agents.
I hereby authorise PRDnationwide Canberra to obtain information from all credit providers
and references supplied to you, all tenancy databases in Australasia, any private landlords and
real estate agents I currently rent from or have previously rented from, current and previous
employers, and any other persons or organisations who have information about me that would
assist PRDnationwide Canberra to assess my application for a tenancy. I understand this can
include information about my creditworthiness, credit history and credit capacity, as well as
more general information that may be relevant to assessing my application.

HANDY HINTS FOR A SUCCESSFUL APPLICATION
Fill out the attached application form COMPLETELY. Do not leave blanks, please answer all
questions fully. For start date, enter the earliest possible date that you will take the property
after the available date. Please note ASAP is not a date.
Return the completed application form to our office along with your I.D & Proof of
income by 10am Monday (or 10am the next working day)
Joint applications must be lodged together
All people living in the property that are over 18 years are required to be on the Tenancy
Agreement. Please ensure that a full application is completed by all applicants over 18
years of age (except dependent children)
All applicants must sign the application form
Please advise your referees that you have given their details to us. A delay in the ability
to contact referees may mean that we are unable to present your application to the
Landlord for approval
The agent is not obliged to contact all referees. The agent will only contact referees on
preferred applications
If the open home is popular and there is strong competition for the property, all
tenants are welcome to offer a rent amount above the asking price to strengthen their
application
If you wish to provide us with more information, please include a covering letter
Our property managers work Monday to Friday and like to be able to give you an answer
within 24 to 48 hours. If you dont hear from them by then, please ring us. Generally if
we are having problems with references it will be because someone isnt returning our
calls. You may be able to chase them for us so that we can get the information we need
Please note if any of the above required information is incomplete, your application WILL NOT
be processed. To ensure that you have the best possible chance of success, please double check
your application and give as much detail as possible.
The Final decision will be made by the owner of the property & no reason for their decision need
be given.
