To manage a portfolio of account receivables in an efficient and effective manner and in accordance
with ALAT Target . To provide a top class account management support for customer’s through pro-
active account management to ensure that they
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1- Responsible for collecting all receivables outstanding from our debtors by effectively managing a
portfolio assigned

2- Provide a competent, courteous, efficient & proactive after sales customer service to ensure we
keep our customers happy.
3- Ensure our customers strictly adhere to the credit terms prescribed which will assist the ALAT
Team in reaching the target .
4- Identify problems, recommend remedies & ensure timely follow up to resolve the problems &
issues thus ensuring premium aftersales customer service.
5-Authenticate & control Credit/Debit Notes issuance so that the revenue does not get adversely
affected unnecessarily.
6-Proactively monitor client accounts and try to restrict our exposure to Doubtful & Bad Debts.
7-Provide periodic reports & lists as needed to ensure all problem areas are highlighted and there is a
smooth workflow.
8-Maintain good and friendly business relations with our customers (internal & external) to showcase
& enhance ALAT Business Decision Making
The jobholder is required to plan call cycles on a daily basis, update Collect with information and
ensure a daily update of collection figures. The jobholder will also be required to plan customer visits
that may be deemed necessary

SKILLES REQUIRED

Bachelor of Science or Commerce or/and Major in Accounting.


• Proficiency in MS Office.
• One year experience in an accounts receivables or in accounting environment or a customer
service environment.
• Sound analytical & customer service skills.
• Excellent telephone skills
• Good written & oral communication skills.
• Tolerance for stress in a difficult role.
• Adheres to policy & procedures
• Focus on ensuring the customers are happy
• Good team player
• Excellent Planning & Organizing skills
• Ability to effectively explore alternatives so as to reach common results
