THE AWARD WHO MAY APPLY HOW AND TO APPLY APPLICATION DEADLINE GENERAL ELIGIBILITY THE LOS AMIGOS SOCIAL CLUB SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS One scholarship, awarded annually, may be used at any college or university. This award provides seven hundred dollars ($350 per semester) which may be used for fees, books, room and board, or a personal computer and software, etc. Each award is contingent upon satisfactory performance (2.8 or better grade point average) and normal progress toward the bachelor’s degree. Applicants must be an African American who is a resident of Monroe County in Alabama who have a high school diploma or a GED certificate and are starting their first year of college for a bachelor’s degree. All application materials must be received by the president of the Los Amigos Club by May 5, 2017. Applicants must: Submit all application materials by May 5, 2017.
