Battle Value used for attacking a minion

Defense Value used to defend against an attack by a minion

Lore Value for using certain items

Move Value used to determine how far you can move

Cheese is added to the minion wheel if


- A minion rolls cheese when attacking or defending.
- A greedy roach steels cheese from a mouse.
- The last mouse on the initiative track finishes his turn, and there are no minions on the
board.

A mouse adds cheese to his stash if


- A mouse rolls cheese when attacking or defending.
- A mouse discards a search card that he does not want.
- Some special condition that is listed on your character card or item.
On your turn: Move + Action + Free Actions

Move:
Roll one action die. Add the number rolled to the move value on your character card. You may move this
many spaces or fewer.

Action: one of the following


Attack - You may attack any minion that is in your space or adjacent to you
with a - Roll a number of action die equal to the battle value on your character card, plus any bonus
melee dice from a special weapon, if you have one.
weapon - Count the total number of swords you rolled. That is the number of times you hit the minion
with your weapon.
- Minion rolls a number of dice equal to the defense value on his initiative card. Every shield
rolled blocks one of your hits.
- Every unblocked hit deals one damage to the minion.

Attack - You may attack any minion that you can see. If there is a minion in your space, you must
with a attack that minion first.
ranged - Roll a number of action die equal to the battle value on your character card, plus any bonus
weapon dice from a special weapon, if you have one.
- Count the total number of bows you rolled. That is the number of times you hit the minion
with your weapon.
- Minion rolls a number of dice equal to the defense value on his initiative card. Every shield
rolled blocks one of your hits.
- Every unblocked hit deals one damage to the minion.

Search - Roll one action die. If you rolled a *, you found something. Take a card from the top of the
Search deck.

Special - If your mouse has an ability that allows him to use an action to do something special, you
may spend the amount of cheese indicated on the ability card to do that

Recover - If your mouse is stunned, remove the stunned marker from your character card.
- If your mouse is webbed, roll one action die. If you rolled a *, remove the webbed marker
from your character card.

Scamper - Take an extra move action (see above)

Explore - If there are no minions on your tile, and you are standing on a flip space or next to a passage
to another tile, you and all of the mice may move to another tile.

Free Actions: any of the following (may do more than one)


Share Give cheese or items to another mouse in the Equip Move items to/from your hands and your
same or adjacent space pack
Level Up Spend 6 cheese to gain a new ability Special Some abilities are free actions
