Nursing in Thailand

Abstract The aim of this study is to describe nursing and nursing education in Thailand. Historical
information about the development of nursing in Thailand, nursing licensing laws, nursing
programs, and the description of a typical nursing program is provided. The nursing educational
system in Thailand is growing and can serve as a model for other developing countries.
