An interesting story was released today that a football player who breaks the 4
dash record (a 4.24 second sprint by Rondel Menendez in 1999 and later by running back Chris
Johnson in 2008) at the NFL Combine will recieve an entire island by the famous shoe
company, Adidas. As if that isnt hard enough to do, the catch is that the player must be
wearing Adidas 2017 adizero 5-Star 40 shoes and has to agree to endorse the shoe companys
products for the entire football season.

The closest anyone has ever gotten to the record besides these two was Jerome Mathis
with a 4.26 40-yard dash in 2005. Friday, March 3rd and Saturday, March 4th are the days in
which the record could expect to be broken given that these are the days in which the running
backs and wide recievers take the field. Athletes at these positions are typically the fastest on
the field and are sure to impress the scouts, coaches, and GMs at the NFL Combine, which will
take place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
