Description:

CITI needs base data for their primary user Credit and risk team; they want to
create a Star Schema for cards, Loans and Overdraft from their legacy source. This
involves constructing architecture to extract data from raw sources after doing necessary
transformation loading into Interim. From the interim table required Dimensions are
created and linked to fact table.

Responsibilities:

Analyze the specification document.


Extensively involved in preparation of low level design documents.
Working on Data stage Designer for Extracting Source Transactional Database
and transforming and then load into Target Database.
Develop Data Stage jobs for Dimensions, Fact tables and Sequence jobs.

Description:

Telstra is an Australian telecommunications company under private ownership,


holding a dominant position in landline telephone services, large share of mobile phone
services, domestic consumer (including dial-up access and Broadband internet broadband
cable modem, satellite and DSL services under the Big Pond brand) and business data
services, and cable television.

Telstra plans to implement a Business Intelligence Solution for the initial subject
areas being Customer care, Profiles and authorization, Online content and Online billing
etc

The objective of the project is to design and build a data warehouse for query and
analysis using the data stage as an ETL and the data was extracted from files, transformed
and loaded into oracle target this project gives an insight in to business trends and makes
them better forecasting.

Responsibilities:

facts and Summary tables.
