Basic Operation
This section will focus on connecting your IP camera, software installation, basic operation of
the interface including pan/tilt, video, audio, etc. Other settings will be explained in later
chapters.

Notice:
For your security, please update the cameras default password once you finish the following
procedure and you can turn to camera settings for reference.

Hardware Installation
Open the package. Connect the camera to your routers LAN port by a network cable and
plug it in with the provided AC adapter.

Add Cameras
1. Download Yoosee from App Store for iOS device or from Google Play Store for Android
device. For easy installation, please scan the QR code to download and install Yoosee. If
your android device could not access Google Play Store, please google it directly.

2. Launch Yoosee after installation. iOS device will ask you to allow notifications from
Yoosee. If you need to receive camera alert, please allow it. Then click Register to
register a new account.

3. Register an account by telephone number or e-mail, here we choose e-mail. After


register, a new login ID will be created.

4. Login the camera with login ID or e-mail address.

5. When is the camera starts up, the App will detect the camera in LAN. Select the camera
you want to add, enter the cameras password and click Save. The default password is
marked on the bottom of the camera, usually it is 123456 or 123.

6. If your App could not detect the camera or your App and camera are not in the same
LAN, please choose Manual to add camera manually. The device ID is marked on the
bottom of the camera.

7. After adding the camera, select the camera in the device list to get live video. Some
mobile device will ask you to allow accessing the microphone, please allow it as it is
necessary for talking to the camera.

Instructions of the buttons of main panel
Pan/Tilt Slither the video to pan or tilt the camera

Adjust the video quality.

Turn of or off all the alarm/alert system.

Allows User to listen to the camera's audio feed and talk to


the camera.

Take snapshots.

Exit live video page.

Camera Settings
1. Press the camera item in the camera list to redirect to settings menu.

Notice: Certain functions mentioned in this manual may vary according to camera's model.
For example, pan and tilt function are for Pan/Tilt enabled cameras only.

Date and Time


Cameras date, time and time zone settings.

Media Settings
Camera video format, volume and image reverse setting.

Video format If your video is flickering, please change it to another.


Volume The volume of listening and speaking.
Image Reverse If your camera mounted on the ceiling, please enable it. Some
cameras will open it automatically as there is an reverse sensor in
the camera.

Security Settings
When a shield shows in the device list, that means your password is too weak. For your
security, we strongly recommend you to change the password. Press Security Settings in
settings page to change it.

Admin password For camera settings, Admin password is a must.
Guest password Access all the camera functions except camera settings with guest
password.

Notice:
1. For your security, please change the cameras default password immediately.
2. Only numbers could be acceptable for passwords.

Network Settings
Cameras network settings, including Ethernet and Wi-Fi settings.

Wi-Fi Settings:
1. Select the Wi-Fi network you want to connect. Confirm that you need to switch the
camera to Wi-Fi network and you got the correct Wi-Fi password.

2. Enter Wi-Fi password and press Ok, wait for several seconds for Wi-Fi mode to be
completely functional. When the camera connects to Wi-Fi, there will be a green tick
after Wi-Fi signal name; you can now disconnect the network cable.

Alarm Settings
1. To make sure the alarm system is working properly, please make sure the alarm system
switch is turned on. Press the lock to be locked to turn on the switch.

2. To set up alarm settings, please redirect to Alarm Settings page. Enable Receive Alarm
and Motion Detection. May sure your current login ID is in the Alarm push ID list to
receive the alarm notifications. Turn on Buzzer to enable alarm voice from cameras
speaker when it detects a motion.

3. To get alarm e-mails to from the camera, please select Alarm E-mail to bind e-mail
account.

4. When the camera detects a motion after setting up alarm settings, the App will show a
notification. You could press View to get live video. And press Message tab of the App to
check the skipped alarm notifications.

Notice:
1. There might be some delay for motion detection alarm since it is related to the network
condition and the service quality of the sender emails provider. Thus it is beyond the control
of IP camera.
2. If you still can not receive any email alert after getting the test email, please check your
spam box and add your sender email address in the trust list of the recipient email once your
find it in spam.

Record Settings
To set cameras record settings.

There are 3 recording types, the camera could record continuously by Manual Recording,
record only when a motion detects by Alarm Recording and record at specified time by
Scheduled Recording. Press Playback at Device List page to check record files in Micro-SD
card.

This function is not for our current cameras. Please ignore it.

Storage Info
Check cameras Micro SD card storage information.

SmartLink & Set Wi-Fi by QR Code


With SamrtLink or Set Wi-Fi by QR Code , we could configure the cameras Wi-Fi connection
without a network cable.
But as technologys limit of SmartLink, some routers and some cellphone will not support
SmartLink well. For setting up Wi-Fi by QR code, it depends on the operating skills and
environment. We do not guarantee a 100% success when setting up Wi-Fi by these 2
functions. If failed, please follow the charter above step by step to set up cameras Wi-Fi
connection.
