We are proud to be your home automation company of choice. Getting started
with your Inteo only takes a few minutes. This guide will show you how to start
using Inteo and how to make the most of it.
If you have any questions, please contact your installer.

IMPORTANT DISCLOSURE
This product must be installed by a certified home automation professional.
The professional must comply with the current standards and legislations of
the country where the product is installed. The professional must inform their
customers of the usage and maintenance conditions of the product.
Any use outside of the applications defined by Somfy constitutes a violation to
the warranty. Failure to follow any of the instructions hereof will invalidate the
warranty.

Please follow the devices operating instructions, indicated in this manual.

Before installing the device, ensure that the product is plugged-in to the
power outlet according to the information indicated on the label on the
device.

ATTENTION! Do not open the device or any of its components. Risk of


electric schock.

Sensitive to humidity! The device must not enter in contact with liquids or
be exposed to humid environments.

Fragile. Handle the device carefully, avoiding impacts.

Recyclable product. Dispose in a recycling collection facility

YOUR SMARTPHONE. IT IS EASY AND
INTUITIVE.
TO MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR HOME
AUTOMATION SYSTEM DOWNLOAD THE
APP INTEO FROM THE APP-STORE.

2. GETTING STARTED

A) LOGIN BY FOLLOWING THESE


STEPS:

Press start.

Type the information needed.

Press Enter.

B) SCAN YOUR INTEOS STATION:

Press the orange plus sign on the


top right corner of the screen.

Scan the Inteos QR Code located


on the bottom of the station.

C)PLUG YOUR INTEO STATION


TO A POWER OUTLET

D) CONNECTING YOUR STATION
TO THE STATIONS NETWORK

Press COPY.
Press ACCESS WIFI SETTINGS.
Choose the network shown on the
app (e.g. BOX7EF2).
Press paste it on the password field.
Go back to inteos app; the first
step should have a tick confirming
the connection.

E)CONECTING TO THE LOCAL


NETWORK:

Input the Local Netowrk SSID.


Input the password.
Press Pair.

F)USING THE INTEO STATIONS


NETWORK:

If you want to use Inteo Stations


network instead of connecting it to
a local one click on the I dont have
a local netowrk.

Notes: some functions of Inteo only


work when the station is connected to
a local WiFi network.

3. DEVICES

BASIC INSTRUCTIONS

A) RECOGNIZING:

Access the device screen by


pressing the lower right corner icon
(plug icon).
Press the orange add icon.
Scan the devices QR Code

Note: To include an RTS Remote


Control or a Somfy IP Camera, press the
name of the banner at the bottom of the
screen.

B) EDITING:

Once registered, you can edit the set-


tings and the name of each device by
clicking on its respective icon, then click
on edit, located on the upper right cor-
ner.

3.1 MICRODIMMER

A) REGISTRING THE DEVICE:

Look for the QR code on the back of


your microdimmer.

On the devices screen press the


orange add icon on your app.

Scan the QR code.

B) SETTING UP:

Microdimmers function either as


dimmers that control ligth intensity, or
as a on/off switch for your lights. To
choose how your microdimmer is going
to work please follow these steps.

Press the plug icon at the bottom


of the screen to access the devices
screen.

Press the icon of the microdimmer


you wish to modify.

Click on edit located on the upper


right corner.

Choose which mode to have:


dimmer or On/Off.

Choose a name for your


microdimmer.

Press OK.

3.2 CUBEE

A) REGISTRING YOUR CUBEE:

Open your cube.

Press the orange icon .

Scan the QR Code using the app.

Choose a name and a room for the


Cubee.

B) PAIRING SCENES TO THE FACES
OF YOUR CUBEE:

Go to General settings by pressing


the upper left corner icon (rooms
and settings menu.)

Click on Settings

Scrowl down until you see SCENE


TRIGGER and chose the cubee you
wish to modify.

Select the icon of the face of the
cubee that you want to use to
trigger a scene.

Choose the scene that will be


triggered.

3.3. RTS CONTROL

A)ADDING AN RTS CONTROL:

Go the the devices screen.


Press the add icon.
Press the RTS Control button.
You have added an RTS to the de-
vices screen.

B) PAIRING PROCEDURE:

After adding the RTS control pair your


RTS by following the next steps:

Press the RTS Control icon on the


devices menu.
Press edit to access the sync option.
Press the prog button on the
phisical RTS control to change the
motor to prog mode.
Press Sync to pair the systems
RTS control to the motor.

C) EDITING AND REMOVING:

Press the RTS Control icon on the


devices menu.
Press edit.
Change the name of your RTS Con-
trol by typing a new one on the
Name field.
To delete the device Press Remove
RTS Control.

Notes: Make sure you have unpaired


the systems RTS Control on all the mo-
tors before deleting it.

3.4 TAG SENSORS

Tage Sensor is a device that monitors


the activity of a door or window and
sends you a notification whenever
these are opened.

A) REGISTRING THE DEVICE:

Look for the QR code inside the tag


sensor.

Press the orange add icon .

Scan the QR code.

B)ACTIVATE THE DOOR AND WIN-


DOW MONITORING:

Go to General settings.
Click on Settings.
Click on online mode.
Turn on the online mode in order
to synchronize your devices infor-
mation.
Go back to General settings.
Press and hold the icon of the
room you want to monitor until
the mensage Monitoring room is
shown.

3.5 SOMFY IP CAMERA

Somfy IP Camera allows you to moni-


tor your house.

A)ADD SOMFYS IP CAMERAS.

On the Devices menu:

Press the add icon.


Click on the Somfy IP Camera
located at the bottom.
Now there is an icon for the Som-
fy IP Camera on the loads menu.

By clicking on this icon you will open


the Visidom app.

B)DELETE CAMERA:

Go to general settings.
Click on Settings.
Press Delete Somfy IP Cammera
access.
Confirm that you wish to delete
the access to the Somfy IP Cam-
eras.

Notes: You need to download the


APP VISIDOM, before linking it to your
station.

4. REMOVING A DEVICE

Go to device menu and press the


orange add icon.

Scan the QR code of the device you


with to delete.

Confirm that you want to remove


that device.

5. ROOMS

Click on the upper left corner icon


to visualize all the rooms, acces a
room, add a new one, or modify their
settings.

Notes: When selecting a room you


will only see the devices in this room
and the scenes that control the
devices in this room. You can access
these options by pressing one of the
icons on the bottom of the screen.

A) ADDING A ROOM:

Go to General Settings and click


on the add icon.
Choose a name and icon for your
room.
Choose the devices that form part
of this room.

B) ADDING MORE DEVICES:

Go to General Settings.
Click on Settings.
At the bottom of the menu you
can choose a room for adding
more devices.

6. SCENES

Click on the Star icon (scenes menu),


located on the lower left corner. On this
screen you can add, edit and activate
scenes.

A) ADDING A SCENE:

Press the edit button (pencil icon)


on the top rigth corner.
Press add scene.
Choose a name and an icon for
your scene.
Press new scene control.
Customize your commands and
choose a timer for them.

B) EDITING SCENES:

On the scenes menu press the


pencil located on the upper right
corner.
Choose the scene you wish to edit.
Access more options by clicking
on the cog wheel located on the
upper right corner.

Notes: To activate a scene simply touch


its icon on the scenes menu.

7.HIDING AND SHOWING A
CHANNEL OR DEVICE

A) HIDING A CHANNEL OR DEVICE:

Go to the devices menu.

Select the device you wish to hide.

Press Edit.

Press Hide channel.

B)SHOWING A CHANNEL OR
DEVICE:

Go to General Settings

Click on the Settings (cog wheel


icon).

Press Show hidden channels.

Choose the device you want to


show.

Press Show.

8.LINKING SCENES TO YOUR
DEVICES

Link a scene to a paired device:

Go to general settings.

Click on Settings.

Under SCENE TRIGGER choose


the triggering device you want to
configure and click on it.

Customize your device.

Choose which scenes will be


activated by your device.

9. SCHEDULING SCENES

Go to the scenes menu by pressing


the star icon, on the lower left
corner.

Press the pencil icon located on the


upper right corner.

Choose the scene you wish to


schedule.

On the upper right corner click on


the cog wheel icon.

Press New Schedule.

10. WAKE-ME-UP

Wake me up is a function that allows


you to program the beginning of your
day, by setting scenes that ease your
morning:

Go to General Settings.

Click on Settings.

Press Wake me up.

Click on Enable.

Choose the starting time and the


time-lapse for each scene.

Add a scene by clicking on the add


icon.

You can choose more than one


scene as an alarm.

11. REMOTE ACCESS

In order to control your home remotely


follow these steps:

Make sure your Station is conected


to the internet.

Go to general settings.

Click on Settings.

Click on online mode .

Enable online mode.

Enable remote access.

Note: Remote access allows you to


control you home automation system
from outside your home.

12. CHANGING BACKGROUND

Change the background of your inteo


app by:

Go to general settings.

Click on Settings.

Press Background.

Choose one of the backgrounds


available.

13. RESETTING

It is possible to reset both the Inteo


app and the station to the default
settings.

A)TO RESET THE APPS SETTINGS


YOU NEED TO:

Go to general settings.
Click on Settings.
Scroll Down and press Reset Con-
tent and Settings.
Press OK.

B)TO RESET THE STATION SET-


TINGS:

Locate the button on the station.


Push and hold it (for about 20
seconds) until the blinking LED
turns red.

14. EXPORTING AND IMPORTING
SETTINGS

A)EXPORTING

To export your settings from one smart


phone to another:

Go to general settings.

Click on Settings.

Press Export Settings.

To export your settings to an e-mail:

On Export Settings, press the


icon located on the upper rigth
corner of your screen.

Send an e-mail with the settings


attached.

B)IMPORTING

In order to import the settings


from another mobile please
follow the following steps:

On the mobile phone that


will export the settings:

Go to general settings.
Click on Settings.
Press Export Settings.

On the mobile phone you


wish to receive the settings:

Before scanning any station,


register a name and email.
Go to Settings.
Press Import Settings.
Confirm that you want to
use the imported settings by
clicking on the refresh icon.
Confirm the operation on the
phone sending those settings.

You can also import


settings from an e-mail:

Enter in the e-mail with the


exported settings attached.
Open the attached file with
the inteo app, by going to
import settings.
Confirm that you want to use
the imported settings.

15. UPDATING FIRMWARE

When a new firmware is available you


can update your system by:

Go to general settings.

Click on Settings.

Press Uptate the box firmware


button.
