BLIND 9/BLIND 5 Only 9/5 holes

count for score. Holes are selected
after the round is completed.
FOUR CLUBS & A PUTTER FROM GREEN
TEES Players can use any 4 clubs and a putter
and play from the green tees.
HOUSE OF CARDS Team score. Each
player is assigned a playing card. One of
the cards will be on the green. The players
net score that matches the card on the green
is the team score for that hole.
IRISH FOUR BALL Four person
team playing your own ball. Holes 1-6,
1 score, 7-11, 2 scores, 12-15, 3
scores & 16-18, 4 scores.
Nine Holers use Holes 1-3, 1 score,
4-6, 2 scores, 7-8, 3 scores,
Hole 9, 4 scores.
IRONING DAY Players may ONLY use
Irons, Hybrids, and their Putter.
MATCH PLAY vs. PAR Players
compare their net score for points
against Par.
MUTT & JEFF Team event in which the
Best Ball totals on each Par 3 and Par 5 count
as the team score.
NASSAU Front, Back & Overall.
ODD HOLES ONLY Play your ball. Only
count scores on odd holes.
RINGERS Players improve
their score on each hole in a
two-week tournament.

SCRAMBLE Team event in which everyone

hits from the position of the best shot.
SHAMBLE Team event in which
the best drive is chosen.
Individual play from there into
the hole.
STABLEFORD Individual players get
1 point for a Net Bogey, 2 for a Net Par,
3 for a Net Bird and 4 for a Net Eagle.
STRIKE THREE Individual players ERASE
their THREE highest individual hole scores.
T/E/N Play your ball only
count holes that start with T/E/N.
TRUE STEP ASIDE SCRAMBLE Team
Event in which each player tees off on the
first hole only, the best shot is selected,
and the player whose shot is selected steps
aside and doesnt get to play the 2nd shot.
The step aside continues into the hole. The
person who putts the hole must step aside
st
on the 1 shot of the next hole.
UNO, DOS, TRES Team score is one score
on a par 5, two on a Par 4 and three on a Par 3.
All tournaments are played under USGA
Rules except where modified by local
Westlake rules.
All groups must have the official
scorecard signed, attested and dated
with the score total. Failure to do so
disqualifies the players involved.
Decisions made by the Committee for
the Competition together with the
Head Professional are final.
