Coordinating clinical trials for children, adolescents, and adults with Fragile
X Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorders
Lead and coordinate patient visits with a multi-disciplinary team of
psychiatrists, psychologists, and medical staff
Ensuring the proper execution of protocol, drug dispensing and
accountability, conducting ECGs, collecting and entering data, developing
IRB applications, submissions, revisions, and complying with ethical
guidelines
Responsible for recruitment and screening of subjects, developing
relationships with autism and fragile X support groups and local clinicians
Work with and build relationships with patients and families to improve
medical compliance with procedures and treatment
Developing diagnostic and clinical skills, participating with research
evaluations for participants with developmental disabilities
Observing and training under Vanderbilt Clinical Psychologists for the
ADOS-2, Mullen Scales of Early Learning, Stanford-Binet-IV, and Vineland
Adaptive Behaviors Scale
Individually conducting ADOS-2 assessments (clinically reliable)
Administering caregiver assessments including Aberrant Behavior
Checklist, Repetitive Behavior Scale-R, Visual Analogue Scale, Pittsburg
Sleep Quality Index, Peds Quality of Life Scale, State-Trait Anxiety
Inventory, and Social Responsiveness Scale
Created and updated lab website with study information and recruitment

Conducted a study using the ATN database that analyzed outcomes for
adopted populations within the autism population. Paper submitted for
publication.

Assisted with a joint research project led by Dr. Thomas Joiner at Florida
State University conducted at Magnolia Creek TCED. The project analyzed
factors contributing to the suicide rates in eating disorders.
Entered data into SPSS, scored and collected assessments, and analyzed
