COURSE OUTLINE
This course is designed to give students a comprehensive view of communication, its
scope and importance in business, and for the success in business environments. The course will
provide the students opportunities to develop communication skills that will be effective in
workplace and organizational settings. The students will learn various methods of writing,
listening, speaking, and nonverbal communication skills using the techniques of practice and
application. The course will help students learn how to write effective messages, both written
and oral in presentations, meetings and conflicts in todays workplace. It will provide the
students essential communication skills that are necessary for modern business communication.

Assignment:
1)
Choose 6-8 members to form a group.
2)
Write a paper about Communication: it's importance, it's barriers, and the effect
of technology in the media
3)
This paper should be about ten (10) pages. Must include all the citations and
references.
4)
The assignment must follow APA format: double space, Times New Roman, font
size 12, and margin 1 inch all around.
5)
Due date: Last day of intensive. Send hard copy to PJJ office. Late assignments
will be rejected.
