Saturday _| 07.00 pm @ | Sh.Manish Kumar | Jail No.7 Services discontinued L Mob: 9910479847 | 3 By this Office order the above named LSAs are being intimated regarding allocation of various Jails and are impressed upon to comply with the directions/terms & conditions of this Authority as under: 1, The nomination of abovenamed LSAs is purely on temporary basis, subject to appraisal of their performance, conduct and integrity. 2. The payment of the professional fee of all these LSAs shall be made out of the funds available with this Authority. 3. The above named nominated LSAs shall perform the following functions: i} The above named LSAs shall provide free legal aid and services under the domain of the DSLSA. Il. That the above named LSAs shall visit each and every ward of the the Jails Page 1 of 3vi vil. allocated to them and shall work in complete coordination and synergy with the other LSAs of this Authority. The Jail Authority is also requested to allow access to the LSAs of this Authority to each and every ward of the Jail allocated, so as to ensure that no inmate is left unattended/deprived with the Services of DSLSA. That the enlisted LSAs shall strictly follow the time visit schedule that may be provided by this Authority. That the enlisted LSAs shall conduct an audit of the Legal Services Clinics at Jails and report directly to this Authority, so that appropriate measures could be taken to improve the quality of Legal Services in Jails. That the enlisted LSAs shall make efforts to identify the probable juveniles lodged in the Adult jails and bring the matter to the knowledge of this Authority. That the enlisted LSAs shall submit the following report to the Central Office of DSLSA by the last day of every month:~ a) The number of visits to the Jails allocated to them b) Time spent during such visit inside the Jails. c) Details of the Under Trial Prisoners (UTPs) and inmates with whom they interacted; d) The number of Probable juveniles identified in Adult Jail; ) The problems which are being faced by the inmates and which need to be immediately addressed; f) The inmates/UTPs who are eligible for grant of Bail in terms of Section 436 A of the Cr.P.C and directions of Hon’ble Supreme Court in R.D. Upadhyay case; g) The details of the convicts/UTPs who have not been able to file any Appeal against the Order of Sentence before the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi; VIll. Suggestion, if any, for improvement in the delivery of quality Legal Service. |. The above mentioned schedule of postings and timings of its in Jails, may be changed by this Authority and necessary information shall be uploaded on the official website of this Authority i.e. dslsa.org.
