USA is the country that has strong pet care industry and service. Pet
Care Industry in USA is strong due to it high demands from American
people. According to Baldassarre (2015), the rate of pet demand reached
high over the recent years and the number of pets has grown to 312.1
million. This shows that pet caring has strong influence in US culture and
American peoples lifestyle. According to survey issued by American Pet
Products Association, nearly 70-80 millions dogs are owned in American
Household and approximately 37% to 56% of all household in US owns at
least one dog (APSCA, 2016).
The USA is the potential market for various pet businesses and
services to expand into. In recent year, The Americans always treated
their animal companion as member of their family or
Humanization(Frachise Help, 2016) .Furthermore, American pet owners
always spend $30.4 billion on pet in 2014 (David, 2015) to seek out higher
quality and more expensive services such as medical treatment, pet spa
or pet hotel to take care of their pet. In addition to food and other items,
American Pet Owners also spent another $28.0 billion on veterinary care
in 2011.
Furthermore, In American society, there are increasingly more urban
couples tends to owns a dog. According to a Sylvain Labs report in the fall
of 2014 explained that there was a connection between the fact that more
urban couples were getting dogs and more partners waiting until they
were older to have kids.This leads to the decreased number of children
per family(Loznak ,2016).

Due to strong US pet culture in American lifestyle and the high rate
of demand of pet, US becomes the potential market for various pet care
businesses and service. Pet services, can be includes grooming, boarding,
walking, training, pet sitting, exercise and yard services for kind of pets.
These service reached the largest growth in 2016 and more than tripled
the growth percentage of any other category. Coming in at an 11.8
percent growth from 2014 to 2015, American pet owners are now
spending $5.41 billion on pet-related services. Second only to pet services
growth, is spending on supplies/OTC meds (3.9 percent growth to $14.28
billion)(APPA, 2016).
In term of Technology, there are many smart application related to
pet care which help dog owners to be able to observe their pet from a
distance or when they are not at home Toth also explained that there's
also a growing sector of safety items which offered to pet owners to help
them watching on their dog (Castillo, 2016) .For more specific, the Pet
facial recognition technology Pip My Pet Facial Recognition app comprise
of database of scanned dog faces which can aid in finding lost pets. For
the owner that wants to check in on their dogs every day, there's the
iCPooch. The service allows dog owners to video chat with their pets,
thanks to a digital camera and a remote treat dispenser(Castillo,2016).
The US is the potential market for the groups service Dog Paradise
Pet Care to enter as the pet industry in USA is changing. The editor-inchief Wendy Toth of Pet360.com explained that the sector of pet service
and technology is booming thanks to consumers who want to improve
their pets' lives with devices similar to what they themselves are
using(Castillo,2016).
