 Proverbs 29:18: Where there is no vision, the people
Day 1 perish.
Prayer: Lord, I begin these forty days of prayer seeking your
insight, your direction, your inspiration, and your
revelation. Help me to see beyond my small world. I pray for
discipline and endurance through this vision walk. Right
now I claim new vision and victory at the end of 40 days. In
Jesus’ name, Amen.
Reflection:
Habakkuk 2:2-3: Then the Lord answered me and said,
Day 2 “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may
run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tar-
ries, wait for it; because it will surely come, It will not tarry.
Prayer: Holy Father, help us to see the vision that is written for our
individual lives and for our church life. Give us all a holy
courage so that we may run with it. We know the vision will
come to pass, so we pray that we can be a part of fulfilling
your vision for the Kingdom of God on earth. We are fully
committed to your will and your way. In

Numbers 12:6: . . . When a prophet of the LORD is among
Day 3 you, I reveal myself to him in visions; I speak to him in
dreams.
Prayer: Dear Lord, We thank you for the prophet you have given to
us and the vision that you have given to him. We pray that
our church is filled with the Holy Spirit, with dedicated
leaders and members, and with Christ’s love all around us.

Roman 8:31 - 39:
Day What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for
39 us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own
Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also,
along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will
bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It
is God who justifies. Who is he that condemns?
Christ Jesus, who died—more than that, who was raised
to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding
for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or
nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: "For your
sake we face death all day long; we are considered as
sheep to be slaughtered."
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors
through him who loved us. For I am convinced that
neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither
the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height
nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to
separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our
Lord.
Prayer: Lord, I have diligently sought your face these past forty
days. I have received knowledge and divine insight
through your Word. I realize now that the only thing I
need on a daily basis is to bathe myself in your glory and
to receive the secrets of your vision for my life through
your Holy Spirit. Lord, thank you for creating me in your
image and giving me the precious Lamb who is the true
light of salvation. Nothing will separate me from you.
Praise God, I have the victory and the gift of sight into
what your will is for my life, my community, and my
church. Thank you God!
Reflection:
 Mark 8:25: Once more Jesus put his hands on the man's
Day eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and
37 he saw everything clearly.
Prayer: Jesus, thank you for restoring my sight so I can see clearly
and serve you fully. Touch me in a special way and bless me
with the ability to discern and follow your will and your
way. I will live a life of worship so I am always available to
be touched by you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Ephesians 3:20-21: Now to him who is able to do
Day immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to
his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the

church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for
ever and ever! Amen.
Prayer: We glorify you, Father, in this local church. We can’t
imagine what you have in store for us. That is why we have
been seeking your vision and your power. We long for your
power to work within each and ever person in our families
and in our church. We don’t presume to measure what you
will do. We just remain open and willing to be used. Use us
Lord to glorify you. We present to you a church, a people
fully committed to you.

Acts 2:17: “ 'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my

Prayer Father God in the name of Jesus, I want to thank you for the
spirit within and the spirit that you poured upon me. I pray
for the faith to walk in the Spirit and to see the world around

Daniel 1:17: To these four young men God gave knowledge
Day 5 and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. And
Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds.
Prayer Lord, I come to you, because I lack wisdom, knowledge, and
understanding, knowledge to know, wisdom to know how,
understanding to go. I ask these things in Jesus’ name

Acts 10:3: One day at about three in the afternoon he had a

Prayer Father God, I know it’s at anytime you will call me. I pray
that I will be able to hear your call and to receive a vision.

 Acts 26:19-20: “So then, King Agrippa, I was not

Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and to
the Gentiles also, I preached that they should repent and turn
to God and prove their repentance by their deeds.
Prayer Father God in the name of Jesus, heal and deliver the hearts
and minds of your people that they may turn from their ways
and seek the Kingdom. I pray that we may be obedient to the
vision you have for your people, Amen.

1 John 1:7: But if we walk in the light as he is in the light,
Day 8 we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus,
his Son, purifies us from all sin.
Prayer Heavenly Father, you have been so good to me. You made a
way so that I could fellowship with others without
being in dark, but instead, I can walk in the light through
you Son Christ, Amen.

Genesis 1:3-4: And God said let there be light, and there was

light from the darkness.
Prayer Lord, if we say we fellowship with you and walk in darkness
then we lie. Lord, please show me the areas in my life that
need more of your light. Do not separate yourself from me. I
want to walk in the light with you at all times. In Jesus’

Prayer: Lord, keep my family, loved ones and myself from all dan-
ger and harm. Protect our goings and comings and free us
from those things that hinder us from loving and serving you

Psalm 146:8: the LORD gives sight to the blind, the LORD
Day lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves the

Prayer: Holy Father, I once was lost but now I'm found. I once was
blind but now I see. Thank you God for giving me a chance
to see that your ways are best for my life. As 40 days of
prayer and meditation come to an end, I will continue to bow

Matthew 11:5: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those
Day who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are

Prayer: Jesus, I know that in you lives change. Thank you for
changing me during this 40 day journey. I will remain in the
Body of Christ as a vital member so I can help others see

 Genesis 41:15-16: Pharaoh said to Joseph, "I had a dream,
Day and no one can interpret it. But I have heard it said of you

do it," Joseph replied to Pharaoh, "but God will give
Pharaoh the answer he desires."
Prayer: Dear Lord, I come to you seeking the answers for my life. I
know if I listen long enough, if I seek diligently, and if I
worship you in spirit and in truth, then you will answer me. I
am committed to hearing from you. Thank you Lord for
interpreting my dreams and for showing me what you have
in store for me, my family, and my church. In Jesus’ name,

1 Corinthians:15:58: Therefore, brothers and sisters, be
Day steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the

in the Lord is not in vain.
Prayer: Father God, I am standing firm on this 40 day journey.
Thank you for the power of your Spirit that keeps me
pressing forward. I know that my commitment to prayer,
meditation, and worship is not in vain. Victory is here. I

1 Chronicles 17:27: Now you have been pleased to bless
Day the house of your servant, that it may continue forever in

blessed forever.”
Prayer: Father God, I already see new blessings in my life, in my
family, and in my church. Thank you for your bountiful
blessings. I’m counting them one-by-one. Glory to your

John 8:12: When Jesus spoke again to the people he said, “I
Day am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never

Prayer Lord Jesus, please continue to speak to your people through
a vision so that they may know that you are the light of the
world and that your Word will not come back void. I pray
that our church will be a light in the community where lost
people can come out of darkness. Amen

Romans 13:12: The night is nearly over; the day is almost
Day here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the

Prayer Lord, we realize that weeping may come in the night, but
most of all we thank you for the joy that comes in the
morning. In the morning we will put on the whole armor of
God. We will do good deeds and be a light in the darkness of
this world. Amen.

Ephesians 5:8: For you were once darkness, but now you

Prayer Thank you Lord for giving me the opportunity to live in your
likeness and in your lightness which allows me to be all that
I can be in you. Thank you Lord for making a way out of

 Acts 26:18: To open their eyes and to turn them from

Prayer Dear Lord, Thank you for giving us visions and for directing

Prayer Dear Lord, Give me the strength, faith and courage to
receive your vision. When I do, I know you will order my
steps. Thank you for making a path for me to follow that

Isaiah 55:8-9:"For my thoughts are not your

Prayer Dear Lord, Help me to trust in you God, that as you give
dreams and vision to my pastor that through him you will
open up a spirit of wonder in me, a spirit of faith in me and a
spirit of kingdom worship in me. Help me God to realize
that you are not trying to box me in, but you are trying to
open me up to all the possibilities I have yet to imagine. I
want to accept your ways and your thoughts because mine
cannot compare to you. Amen.

Prayer Dear Lord, Thank you for keeping some things secret from us
while it is for our good. Thank you for revealing those things
to us that we can give to our children so that they can see what

 Psalm 19:1-2: The heavens declare the glory of God; and
Day the firmament shows his handiwork. Day unto day utters

Prayer Lord, you have shown me your power through your creation
of heaven and earth. As I study your Word day by day, and
meditate on it at night, make me dream dreams that will help
me to understand your true nature and how it can be manifest

Hebrews 10:32: But recall the former days in which, after

Prayer Dear Lord, Thank you for the struggles after you shined your
light upon me where I received your salvation. If it were not
for the struggles, I would not have to seek you face, which is
what I was created for. Thank you Lord, for lighting my way

Prayer Almighty God, increase my faith in You. May I grow deeper
in the healing power of your Word. May my faith heal me
and make me whole - in you. May my faith allow me new
sight in order to see your vision for my life and for my
