Cmo tejer los patucos?

Primera vuelta: un punto bajo en la segunda cadeneta de base, un punto bajo en

cada vuelta siguiente.
Segunda vuelta: una cadeneta, dos puntos bajos en el punto siguiente, un punto bajo
en cada punto bajo hasta el ltimo, 2 puntos bajos en el ltimo punto bajo.
Tercera vuelta: una cadeneta, un punto bajo en los siguientes puntos bajos hasta el
final. Repetimos la vuelta tener una muestra de 9 centmetros.
Vuelta siguiente: una cadeneta, saltar un punto, un punto bajo en cada punto bajo
hasta que queden dos, saltar uno, un punto bajo en el ltimo.
Para hacer el empeine de los patucos:
Primera vuelta: una cadeneta, un punto bajo, trabajamos 16 puntos bajos a lo largo del
borde de la plantilla, 7 puntos bajos alrededor de la punta, luego 16 puntos bajos a lo largo del
otro borde, cerramos.
Segunda a cuarta vuelta: una cadeneta, un punto bajo en cada punto bajo hasta el
final, cerramos.
Entre la quinta y la octava vuelta: una cadeneta, 22 puntos bajos, saltar un punto bajo,
7 puntos bajos (en cada una de las sucesivas vueltas, sern 5, 3 y 1 los puntos a dar), saltar
un punto bajo, 15 puntos bajos, cerrar.
Novena vuelta: una cadeneta, 18 puntos bajos cinco veces, trabajar con punto bajo
hasta el final, cerrar.
Por ltimo, para los cintillos, 8 cadenetas, un punto bajo en cada uno de los 7 puntos bajo
sobre el taln, 9 puntos bajos. A continuacin:
Primera vuelta: un punto bajo en la segunda cadeneta de base, un punto bajo en cada
una de las siguientes 7 cadenetas, un punto bajo en cada uno de los siguientes 7 puntos
bajos, un punto bajo en las restantes cadenetas.
Segunda vuelta: una cadeneta, un punto bajo, dos cadenetas, saltar un punto bajo,
continuar con punto bajo.
Tercera vuelta: Una cadeneta, un punto bajo en cada punto bajo y un punto bajo en
cada espacio de dos cadenetas, un punto bajo en el ltimo punto bajo. Cerrar.
Esta labor, que puedes rematar con unas flores de ganchillo si son para una nia, requiere de
un poco de paciencia, pero el resultado merecer la pena.

Starting with color 1

Chain 10, SC in 2nd chain from hook, SC in next 7, make 5 SC in the last chain
Now working on opposite side, SC 8, join, ch 2.
Round 2: HDC, 2 HDC, HDC in next 6, 2 HDC in next 2, HDC in next 2, 2 HDC in next 2,
HDC in next 6, 2 HDC, HDC in last, join, ch 1.
Round 3: SC 10, 2 SC in next 2, 2 HDC in next 5, 2 SC in next 2, SC in next 10, join, ch
1.
Round 4: In back loops only, SC around, join, ch 1. (39 SC)
Round 5: In back loops only, SC around, join, ch 1. (40 SC)
Change to color 2
Round 6: SC around making deep single crochets (40 SC)
Round 7: Now working in both loops, SC around, join ch 1. (40 SC)
Round 8: SC 12, [SC decrease, SC in next 2] 4 times, SC 12, join, ch 1.
Round 9: SC 14, SC decrease, SC, SC decrease, SC, SC decrease, SC 14, join, ch 1.
Round 10: SC 10, 6 SC decreases, SC 11, join, ch 1.
Round 11: SC 10, 3 SC decreases, SC 11, join, ch 1.
Round 12: SC 10, 2 SC decreases, SC 10, join, ch 1.
Round 13-16: SC around, join, chain 1. (22 SC) (at the end of round 16, change color)
Change back to color 1
Round 17: SC around in new color, join, ch 1. (22 SC)
Round 18: HDC around (22 HDC)
Round 19: SC around (22 SC)
Round 20: HDC around (22 HDC)
Round 21: SC around (22 SC)
Round 22: HDC around (22 HDC)
fasten off and weave in loose ends.
Fold over cuff (rounds 17-22)
Optional: Slip stitch around the bottom of the boot to create a thicker rim. I did this along the first
rim that was created from crocheting in the back loops.
Tiny 5 petal Flower Pattern:
Magic Ring, SC 10 in magic ring, join, chain 1
In next stitch: (HDC, DC, HDC)
repeat around.

all in one stitch, chain 1 and slip stitch to next stitch, chain 1 -

fasten off and leave tail to sew on

Crochet Hook: F/5 or 3.75 mm hook

Yarn Weight: (3) Light/DK (21-24 stitches to 4 inches)
MATERIALS

Bernat Baby Coordinates (140 g / 5 oz)

1 ball of #01009 Soft Blue

Size 4 mm (U.S. G or 6) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.

SIZES: To fit baby size 3-6 mos.

GAUGE
15 hdc and 11 rows = 4 ins [10 cm].
INSTRUCTIONS
Note: Turning ch 2 does not count as hdc.
Ch 29.
1st row: (RS). 1 hdc in 3rd ch from hook. 1 hdc in each ch across. 27 hdc. Turn.
2nd to 5th rows: Ch 2. 1 hdc in each hdc across. Turn.
6th row: Sl st in each of first 6 hdc. Ch 2. 1 hdc in
same st as last sl st. 1 hdc in each of next 16 hdc.
Turn. Leave rem 5 hdc unworked.
7th to 11th rows: Ch 2. 1 hdc in each hdc across. Turn. 17 hdc.
Place marker at each end of 9th row.
Do not turn at end of 11th row.
12th row: Ch 1. Working from left to right, instead of from right to left as usual, work 1 reverse sc in
each hdc across. Fasten off.
FINISHING: Fold Bootie in half with RS facing each other. Join yarn with sl st at marked row and work 1
row of sc through both thicknesses to join seam down rem of cuff, around toe and across bottom of
foot. Fasten off. Turn Bootie right side out. Fold down cuff.
Tie: Make a chain 12 ins [30.5 cm] long. Weave through 7th row of cuff.
