About the institution:

K.L.E. Societys College of Business Administration, Lingaraj College,
Belgaum has been imparting management education for over last two decades.
The institute is reaccredited with A level by NAAC; a recognition and
acknowledgement of excellence.
The institute is also granted the Autonomous Status & is a leader in its segment in
North Karnataka.
We are a department of around 245 students under the magnanimous umbrella
brand KLE SOCIETY.
This is our 20th year of existence.
About the society:
Karnatak Lingayat Education Society was founded in 1916 by seven educated
TEACHERS with the objective of bringing education to the Kannada-speaking region of
the erstwhile Bombay Presidency and what is today the North Karnataka region. With
250 institutions spread across Karnataka, Maharashtra and Goa, each narrating their own
amazing stories of enriching peoples lives, a harmony exists that is very palpable. Our
alumni, settled in different parts of the world are a testimony to our achievements and
endeavors and are ambassadors promoting the Brand KLE throughout the
world.Unmindful of the constraints, KLE ensures that every individual with a desire to
learn, irrespective of which strata he/she belongs to in the society has access to
infrastructure of international standards.Our well equipped hostels with modern facilities
enable every student to enrich himself physically and mentally as well. To ensure that
every student is keeping up with the latest developments in technology and the world, all
the campuses house internet and IT facilities.
Our qualified teachers who are committed and dedicated to their professions strive to
make learning a fascinating journey and experience for all.

The collaborations with universities in the US, UK and Malaysia have added a whole
new dimension to the K.L.E Society making it on par with reputed educational
institutions worldwide.The legacy of selfless-service and sacrifice left behind by the
founding fathers is pursued sincerely by the Management to this day. Under the
unparalleled leadership of Dr. Prabhakar Kore, the KLE Institution has reached enviable
heights. His spectacular chairmanship beyond 30 years, with the active support of his
team of elected members, embodies the collective efforts of everyone in KLE, including
13,000 members of the trust, 1,10,262 students, and 16,000 strong faculty, in making
KLE an international Education-destination.

About our events:

We have been organizing various state and national level events like
BIZWHIZ a National Level mega management fest for BBA/BBM students;
Genesis a National Level Management Festival for only BBA/BBM First Year
Students.
Sixth Sense a National Level Case Analysis competition for BBA/BBM Students;
and a unique lecture series Management by Common Sense;
Finalyst- an exclusive Finance event for BBA and MBA Students;
MAD-Mad about Advertising an exclusive Advertising event for BBA students and many
more.
All these events were a grand success with the support of well wishers in the form of
sponsorship.
About Bizwhiz & Genesis:
This year we are once again after a huge demand & request by the students in other
colleges, We are finally after 3 years organizing our FLAGSHIP event BIZWHIZ &
GENESIS 2016 an inter collegiate management fest for the BBA & BBM students
across Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa, Mangalore & Andhra Pradesh. The event is to be
held on February 21st, 22nd & 23rd Of February.

So far weve successfully conducted 7 series of BIZWHIZ & GENESIS the mega combo
event since the year 2000,03,05,06,07,10,12. The fest was a huge success & also was a
point of attraction among the students from Bangalore, Pune, Mangalore, Goa, Hubli,
Belgaum.
The last two series i.e Bizwhiz 2010 & 2012 were a landmark in the history of our
college since they received huge response & liking. There were a total of 45 teams each
comprising of 11 students in which 6 were for BIZWHIZ & 5 for first year BBA/BBM
students for Genesis. Both the events were attended by Major corporate entities & also
had celebrities like NIKHIL CHINAPPA of MTV fame & Ranvijay Singh of the
ROADIES MTV FAME.
The fest consists of several management events such as Best Manager, Human Resources,
Finance, Crisis Management, Quiz, & Marketing.

About the theme for Bizwhiz, Genesis 2016:

This year we plan to take BIZIWIZ & GENESIS to a whole new level as we aim to
impart maximum knowledge to the participating as well as organizing team & satisfy
their knowledge by base about the Youth of India & its demographic dividend thus our
theme is YUVA.
Thus the theme for this time is YUVA, Inquilab Zindabad! Power of Youth against all
odds that would aim to trigger the thought process of the youth on the most concentrated
& substantial topic INDIAs DEMOGRAPHIC DIVIDEND.
